| What to do on a rainy holiday....In our case, it was cleaning and rearranging our entire living room. May sound like no big deal, but when your living room is 14.5 feet wide and 31.5 feet deep with a nonfunctional chimney at 13 feet from the front wall and about 6 feet in from the side wall, packed to the gills with furniture, bookcases, tv and surround sound system, musical equipment, craft supplies, cat stuff, and lots of other junk that migrated into the living room from other rooms.....well, its an all day job (or in our case a job to be split over two days).
After 7 years of marriage we decided it was time to move some of the furniture around and make a change of pace for at least the next 7 because unless we hit the lottery and move I'm NOT moving things around again for a long time to come. 
We still have our office to clean up, the bedroom to rearrange, giving the kitchen and bathroom an extra good scrubbing, and then tackling the dumping ground otherwise known as our basement  We might get it done before I retire...who knows  All I know is that my almost 40 year old body is tired and we're going out to karaoke tonight. Matt may have to step on my toes a few times to keep me awake
Well, off to put down food for the scaredy cats who won't go out when the fireworks are popping, and then listen to my hubby sing. Happy 4th y'all.

| I need help or therapy or something.....Yes, I'll admit it....I'm a camera junkie; an expensive habit to have if you can't control it. Luckily for me I can control it by spending it in big hunks every few years rather than little bits all the time.
I bought a Nikon D80 digital SLR today. I love taking pictures, and have boxes of photos to prove it from my purchase of a Nikon N60 film SLR ten years ago. Ahh...I love not having to process film anymore 
My poor hubby is going to have a heck of a time keeping me home to do things like oh....cook, clean, do laundry, sleep (yes, I have gotten up in the middle of the night to take night shots of the full moon).  | | |
| FollowupMy cousin's wife didn't make it, her heart gave out that night. They donated what organs they could. The funeral was today. I'm still in shock. | | |
| If you're the praying sort out there.....Please pray for my cousin and his wife. They were in a car accident this morning. The car was t-boned on her side and she is in critical condtion right now with way too many things going on for me to remember beyond her head trauma that they can't get a cat scan for until she stabilizes. My cousin and her family are terrified as you can imagine, and so is our family.  | | |
