I was really suprised to see you there last night. That party was O.K. but there was alot of food

U still didn't tell me if you are going to Italy or not. It is probably a good choice instead of France this time. And there is sertanly alot better food there then at that party.

Yea, that would be awsome if onlymy folks would alow that but next fall I might, might go to Belarus(if that is how you spell that) but do spred the news it is totally a huge maybe. but it would be way better to go to Italy instead of some cold russian speakin country so yea good luck

Hi Claire!(This is Katie, your friend and fellow timer, btw) I'm soooo sorry I didn't get to see you at the tourny last weekend If I had to choose one debate tournament that I could go to, it would have been Annandale. But I'm sure someone has already told you that I had a voice competion (singing) on Thursday night, and I had to baby sit 3 of my siblings on Sat. and that's why I couldn't come I'll be at Lynchburg (if they do it *holds breath*) and hopefully at the tourny the last week in March. I hope to see you soon. I hope you're doing well Update soon so we know you're alive okay? love ya girl!

OK you are in real trouble know. were in the world were you and how am I going to get that thing back from you. and the TWO BLONDIES. I feel un important and deceived. I so better see you tommorrow at my house and you better bring very thing and I will now expect a batch of blondies because of all the extra time I have been waiting for them and my stolen, swirly blue thing so BE PREPARED and I will see you tommorow and to forget it because there is nothing better for you to do then to come to my house

Um, no, I'm not taking Italian. =p I might have said something about thinking Italian would be a fun language to learn....that's probably where Pippin got it....lol. And "chao" is actually Spanish.....I think it's fairly little-known. But I thought it was cool! =)

Chao is the spanish word borrowed from italian. In italian, it's spelt ciao because a 'c' before an 'i' is pronounced "ch". In spanish, a 'c' before an 'i' is pronounced with a hard "th" (or at least it is in Castillian. Don't know about latinamerican.) That's why the "ci" had to be replaced with a "ch" so it would sound correct.
