Batman Begins (Widescreen Edition)

Well what did you do this weekend? Let's see? Friday night I went to the freshmen boys basketball game. My girls did really good! Of course they always do but it was really fun this time because my parents adn brother were there with me. It's fun to have them apart of my life. They travel so much that it's real cool to just have them around every now and then.

Saturday began around noon for me. I was kind of upset that I slept in so late because I really needed to get a lot of grading done. So I woke up and watched Batman Begins instead. Which I might add was very entertaining! I wish I would've seen it in the theatre. Donny's staying with me. HE keeps making comments on how much I need a big flat screen and surround sound! Are you joking me? Who's going to pay for that?

The rest of Saturday and Sunday was full (FULL) of grading yet more essays. I did have a break to go to church. Praise the Lord!

And the best part is that since I am a teacher I join all students in the nation for national holidays. So on this wonderful Monday I slept in until 9!!!! Made myself a nice breakfast... oatmeal, toast, and green tea. I am getting ready to finish grading those essays. My mom wants to go see a movie later on. I love going to the theatre. I always get popcorn and m&ms with coke!

And then school begins. Oh joy. No, really I like teaching. There's just so many things I would like to change. Who knows what kind of difference I can make in the education system to better the education for my students. They are the best and need the best education.

Oh yeah, I will add some New Zealand picutres soon. It was so incredibly beautiful! I will definitley be going back in the near future.

So now that you know about what's been going on...

I went shopping with Andrea today for Steven's b'day present. We had so much fun. It was like old times, yet I'm so happy to see how life has changed. She is married now, enjoying how to be a good wife. I'm teaching and coaching cheerleading. I have my own apartment with a new roomie (Bekah Primox). She has a nice house with a cute kitty (Bella.) Who would've known how life was going to look back in our college days? We talked about it a lot, but now I'm here at the beginning of my career. She is beginning her new life with Steven. I love it! I am so blesseed to have such a good group of friends around me. It is so much fun to see all our dreams come true. We have thought about these days of young adulthood. We have longed for this freedom. We have pursued life and now we are living it up. We have bills! We have credit! We have dishes and laundry! We have jobs! We have salaries! We have taxes!

I'm in the freakin' prime of my life baby!

Winter weather in Texas makes me laugh. It's like Dallas felt left out from not having a hurricane storm through town so we have to make a huge deal about some ice and snow. Oh my gosh! We go through this every year. Texans still don't know how to drive when it's icy. "Hey, I'm a Texan and like to it when my vehicle spins out of control, hitting cars and blocking the highway for miles on end." Idiots!

Now I understand school being let out early. I was so excited to watch Oprah for like the first time since college. NO! No Oprah. Just the news taking over the world because Hurricane Winter Weather Storm Warning came to Dallas! Goofy! Goofy people.
