  • What is love?

Love is more than a feeling.

Love is a command, love is a choice, love is action, and love is a commitment.

People often say they can't help but fell in love with someone. Rick warren says love is not a ditch, that you can't help but fall into it.

He says love at first sight is more like lust at first sight. I agree with him.

When people say they are not in love with someone anymore, that's because they choose not to love them anymore. The commitment is broken.

God is love, therefore he wants us to love others.

However, we can't really love unless we truly understand what REAL LOVE is.

Here is What God says about love:

"If I speak in the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal.
If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge,
and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but have not
    love, I am nothing.
If I give all I possess to the poor and surrender my body to the flames,
but have not love, I gain nothing.
    Love is patient,
love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud.

It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs.
love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth.
It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.

    love never fails
    .

But where there are prophecies, they will cease; where there are tongues,
they will be stilled; where there is knowledge, it will pass away.
For we know in part and we prophesy in part,
but when perfection comes, the imperfect disappears.
When I was a child, I talked like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child.
When I became a man, I put childish ways behind me.
Now we see but a poor reflection as in a mirror; then we shall see face to face.
Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I am fully known.
And now these three remain: faith, hope and love.
But the greatest of these is love."

    -
    1 Corinthians 13

May we learn to love God and others as we grow towards maturity.

Our journey on earth is merely a training on our characters.

Our bodies may deteriorate, and our health will decline, but our character is something time can not take away.

  • Meeting tomorrow...

We have a meeting with the VP tomorrow going over something we did this week.
Since most of my Art Directors are gone, I was struggling to get certain things done.
I am still new to the company, and I am nervous about meeting the VP.

I am not sure wether I accomplished the tasks assigned to me. Besides my work, I have to work on my boss' project. (Well, it's a team project.)

    ******************************************

    Okay, no more worries...

I am going to work hard and let God handle the rest.

    Good night everyone!!!

    TGIW!!!
