It's been so long since I've written anything here.  I seem to come and go, fading as the times change only to return revived, renewed.

I just finished my very first Belly Dancing performance.  I didn't do so hot, but everyone else looked and performed great.  In all reality I probably did better than I actually think so I should give myself some credit.  At least I looked hot enough to get a free drink at pizza hut, curtisey of the apparently cute waiter Justin M.  I say apparently because I didn't actually look at him but all the others did, including the two engaged women sitting on either side of me.  They couldn't stop cracking up when ever he came by, I found it amusing.

I may or may not decide to share my latest creation here, my story that is being revised yet again.  I made it through chapter 3 before deciding that I didn't like how I'd written it.  I revised it getting through the prologue and realized that I don't like the prologue this way either.  So I'm on revision number three. I like some aspects of each version but I have yet to create a prologue that captures the essence and history of my story.  Maybe this time I'll get it right.

I only have to hope.
