My Micah is getting so big, so fast. Tuesday he is turning 9 months!!

A couple of weeks ago he started to walk on his own and last week his 2 bottom teeth have made their appearance!

He looks so much like his daddy! Sometimes I still think, "Is this really my son?!" ;)

I'm so glad he is!

i hate mornings

they are the worst! it's already week 2 of school and i still have not gotten into the swing of things. i mean, i do get up, get myself dressed, get the kids dressed with burk's help, make lunches, make sure they have everything they need in their backpacks and drive them to school, but i still feel tired and i get very grouchy. i can't do mornings!

i've tried coffee. i've tried going to my sister's house. i've tried cleaning. i've tried just sitting in front of the t.v. i've tried putting micah down for a nap. i've tried knitting with the most luxurious yarns, but nothing, so far, has helped to wake me up and get me out of my morning gouchiness.

tomorrow, i think i'll try shopping!

Today was the first day of school! Joseph started 2nd Grade. Jason started Kindergarten. Matthew went back for his Structured Learning Class.

What's been going on with the Royer boys!

Well, it's summer time and my Joseph is getting bored. He just came back from Kids' Camp. He said it was fun! But now he's back home and he's bored. I asked him today if he was ready for school. his response: "yeah, i'm kinda bored." :|

Jason is looking forward to school, too! Although he's still loving his video games. :)

Matthew just finished summer school.

He and Micah are getting over a summer cold this weekend. They've been coughing terrible, but are now just starting to stop. so Momma's happy!

The Micah is growing up too fast! He's crawling, pulling himself up to standing, getting into EVERYTHING! and he's FAST!

He woke me up early this morning saying "mama, mama" I love hearing it!

We had spaghetti for dinner the other night. Everyone's eating, talking and behaving pretty well! :) Burk and I get to talking about something when all of a sudden I hear Matthew laughing hysterically. I turn to look at him and this is what I find...

I didn't know whether to scold or laugh.

I laughed! :) and pretty soon his brothers were in on the action too!

I love those kinds of fun meals! those are the ones I'm always going to remember! :D

Easter's come and gone! Here are my boysies all dressed so cute!
Wow! Four boys! Sometimes, it's still has to sink in! :)

My baby boy is growing fast! He's already 3 months old and really chubby and fun to play with. His new thing is to yell. Not cry. Yell! It's hilarious! I think he's got so much to say and he really wants to be heard!

The big brothers are getting big too! Matthew is talking more and more! He's saying full sentences and I'm having conversations with him! I love it!

Jason has been a really good helper. He loves his little "Mikey".

Joseph is doing really good in school. He's looking forward to Kids' camp this summer!
So am I! :)

A Whole Lot of Happenings!

Well, let me start where I left off...We had a good Christmas. We didn't decorate hardly at all. But about 1 week before Christmas I found a huge 7.5' lighted-tree on major sale! So that put us more in the Christmas spirit. The boys and Burk decorated the tree. They did a great job!

Joseph sang "Happy Birthday, Jesus" for the Christmas Eve Candlelight Service. He did a wonderful job! I don't know what Jason was doing....or looking for! ;)

Eww! Look at my belly! So pointy! and HuMuNGous!

New Year's came and went. We celebrated my Dad's 48th birthday! We put 48 candles on his cake...but when we lit it it looked more like a giant torch on top of a birthday cake! ;)

Next came Joseph's birthday. My firstborn turned 7 years old!

We had a small but fun party for him at home. He also had to go back to school that day so I sent Cupcakes to his class and Burk & Jason went to eat lunch with him at school.

And then came the BIG day! The day I've been waiting for for about 9 months!! Look how BIG I am! That's the night before the morning I gave birth! WOW! I'm HuGE!

Micah Burk was born Jan. 7 at 9:11 a.m.

He looks nothing like me. He looks like his Daddy...light brown hair and beautiful blue eyes! And what a great delivery! No problems, no complications for either of us. Thank you, Lord.
So now we are on the road to recovery and rest! He already weighs 8lbs and is 19 1/2" long. He's getting so big, so fast, so I will be sure to post lots of pics very soon!

Matthew turned 3 on Saturday! YAY!! He had the best time! He got some really cool presents and he really liked those cupcakes!

His Uncle Danny and Uncle David got him the coolest gift ever!! A ball pit!

Nana and Popo got him a cool drum set! He loves playing on them!

Monday was Matthew's first day of school. He has the coolest classroom and a really nice teacher! He seems to like it!

Here he is just checking out his new classroom. I think he likes it! :)
