It's been a while

Look, I haven't dropped off the face of the planet afterall!

I've just been busy balancing my work-life, with my love-life, being a mommy and doing theatre. but finally, i can have my cake and eat it too. I got a job this summer at Stages as their non-aea assistant stage manager and it pays enough that i got to quit working at Home Depot.  Hayden has surgery to get tubes put in his ears and his adnoids removed on the 9th, so i'm keeping my fingers crossed, but right now I'm loving life and start my therapy as an over-hire carpenter at Stages before i start my real job for the next few weeks.  Things are good.

SO sorry about being a no-show last weekend, my folks informed me that they wouldn't be able to handle watching Hayden about 30 before i was about to leave.  they're sick and now he is. Luckily, he's not contagious, it's jsut a bad reaction to his 4 shots yesterday, but he's still not sleeping enough.  At least I got to find out yesterday that he'll probably grow to 6 feet or more when he's older since he's 35 and three quarter inches tall now. 

Expo is draining me. I mean 11 bucks an hour is nice, but I hate wading through shit and dealing with pissy people. I do that enough with drama-queen actors.

Things with BJ are fine. He's falling in love with me, I'm not ready for it. contemplating my options, but will probably stay with him because i've run enough.  I found the worst thing other than being in love is having that feeling for a person you'll never realistically ever be with.

but on an upside, I have a new car. and Hayden loves it, he's says "bye-bye in new car". it's so cute. So I have a Kia Rio Cinco. it's a "sport wagon" total mom-car, but it's storing capacity rocks and i'm in love. Plus, it has a radio, perfect paint, a smoth ride, doesn't rattle, the interior lights work, the side molding is fully attached and this car only had 57 miles on it when i bought it.  It's nice to have something that's all mine.  Ah, my first 'adult purchase' feels great.

Hope to see some of you for the children's show if all goes to plan. cross your fingers for me.

Don't worry, I haven't died, I've just been working at Expo and it's been draining me a bit.  I'll be back on my feet soon, hopefully more social, and will make a visit to the 'burg this weekend!  See most of you then.
