Although He was a Son, He learned obedience
from the things which He suffered."
Heb. 5:7-8
The Father heard the cries of His Son,
but He did not save Him from the agony of suffering.
It was necessary that He allow His only Son
to go through the pain of separation and torment....
for you and me.
God hears...
and He cares....
but He often allows the pain.
It is love.
Will we trust and obey in spite of the pain?

Dear Lord,
Thank you for my friends across this great land.
I ask that You greatly enlarge their faith,
and that their love for each other would grow ever greater.
May they be counted worthy of their calling,
and in the kingdom of God.
When there is affliction, persecution and suffering,
give them perseverance and faith to continue on.
May Your righteous judgment grant them
rest and relief when it is needed.
Fulfill every desire for goodness...
and the work of faith....with POWER.
Be glorified in them today,
and they in You.
May Your eternal grace rest on them....
and give them peace.
