| The amazingly fiendish Flawless FlowerYes, I have fallen victim to watching bad asain drama shows. It's hilarious to watch and if you ever get the chance you all should go to you tube and look up this show "ep 1" and just start watching it. It's a show originally created in madarin, redubbed in cantonese then subtitled in english (in this version) The opening song is amazing and I think I'll have to remix it. Also, I want you all to know that Flower is the man. Orchid (later on the series known to Steph and I as Chafawnduh, due to her crazy looking weave like hair.) I know weave like should be hyphonated, but Hayden decided to pour pepsi on that region of my keyboard and the hyphon just hasn't worked since then. Peace. ~Derek | | |
| Mood: >.> Music: None Well, I got fired from my job while I was on vacation. I'm not sure why as they didn't give me a reason, nor did they bother to let me know while I was away. I don't know about you, but somehow this smells a little like shit to me. Anyway, they let me come in to work today to pick up my paycheck to find out about my joblessness. They wanted me to call my boss, but somehow talking to the man who to decided to "let me go" while they thought I was eight hours away didn't tickle my fancy at the moment. Also, I know exactly why they fired me, which is because they think I've been stealing money from me. Now, if you know me personally, you know this is a load of crock. I don't steal, period. To think otherwise is to be a paranoid coke addict who runs a bowling alley, that or a complete idiot. Well, the reason I post this here is so you guys know that I have more time to play with my music and actually come up with some more tunes. Which could be good for you guys, but thats only if you like the music from Battlefield 2142 or the Law and Order music. So, keep up the support (sort of I guess.). ~Derek | | |
| Two jobs, school, and a kid.Mood: Exhausted Music: "Dark Blue" by Cabala from the disc "In Search of Sunrise"
Well, as one of you may know, I have two jobs now and it tearing me up a little as far as physical well-being is concerned. I still work at the bowling a few days a week, which is ok i guess because it's really easy and it's a second paycheck. It also gives me time to work on homework. Other than that though, the job is so tiring. Tonight, (my Sunday, your Saturday) we had rock and bowl, which is an all-you-can-bowl special from 9:00pm until 2:00am. Normally it's pretty packed but on Saturdays the rock and bowl population has gone down quite a bit. I think it's because the weather is so nice lately and there are much more fun things to be doing other than bowling.
Anyway, the most recent Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday (two nights ago) I've been working at a parts plant in lapeer, which is about 30 minutes away from where I live. I work this job third shift, which I'm starting to like a lot since i'm actually home during the day, even though I'm sleeping. Anyway, having worked from 10:50pm Friday night until 7:20am Saturday morning. After sleeping from about 8:30am until 5:00pm I headed to work at the bowling alley. God my days are all mixed up, everyone else's Friday is my Saturday and my Mondays are actually everyone else's Sunday. It's kind of fucked up but I'm starting to get used to it.
Yep, and to top it all off I now have classes starting last week, (7-5-06) on Mondays through Thursdays from about 10:00am until 2:00pm. Yeah, my life has gotten very interesting as of late. Think I'll be quitting Colonial Lanes, mostly because I get paid almost $3.00 an hour more at CEP (this stands for Carlisle Energy Products, can you guess where they started out?) than I do at the bowling alley.
Well, the reason I'm awake right now instead of sleeping to get ready to work tomorrow at colonial at 11:45am and then again at CEP at 10:50pm is because if I go to sleep right now and wake up tomorrow at 11 in the morning or so I won't be able to stay awake at CEP all night long and that wouldn't be good. Maybe I can take a nap later on today at work.
I think I'll let you all go now, I just thought I'd let you know what was going down. Peace and Love, Derek | | |
| Hacky-sac and polyurithane fumes.Mood: Dizzy Music: None
Well, I sat at work all day and worked on homework. It was good mostly because I got paid to do this the whole time. But yeah, The baby is doing very well and Stephanie has been working on making Hayden's cake for tomorrow (Hayden's birthday).
I'll have to take some pictures of the cakes (yes, she made two) and stick them up here or on my myspace. I might even have to use them for textures on my shop on Second Life. Then everyone I know gets to see what my girly's handiwork looks ^.^!
Anyway, keep it real and hit me up, either on here, Myspace, or Second Life.
I'm sure no one else I know uses SL, but if you do hit me up.
