We have established communication with them on three occasions. Once of our agents has sighted them on two occasions. Reportedly they were last seen shopping in Walmart.

This is not Philip. Since it has been 6 months since the last update to this page, I figured I would clean the cobwebs off this page and post an update. Philip, if you want to become the sole user of this blog, let me know.

Oh, Bryce! I had no idea you were still posting on my blog!

Yes, the rumors are indeed true. Bryce was correct when he said that was why I have not been posting. It is now 60 days.

Maybe..... if I ever get internet service again.......just maybe I will be able to blog again. That is, WE. At this point it's a luxury I can't really afford.

More important than all that news should be the news that I was baptized yesterday. Not that I planned to be baptized on Resurrection Day; God just made it work out that way. I will say that it took me far too long to realize the necessity of it (although God knew what He was doing all along). I would have done differently, but I am only me, not God. But, oops! I forgot that most of you who visit my blog are Presbyterians (i.e. those who hold to the false, wrong, incorrect, un-Biblical, heretical, WRONG, false view of infant baptism j/k! But I do think believer's baptism does more justice to New Testament scripture than does infant baptism.) As I have studied and prayed about it, I am more and more inclined to say that claiming union to Christ without a baptism is much like getting married without a wedding (eloping).

I hope you all are doing well, and maybe I'll show up again sometime.

Phil

Sunday, April 16, 2006

Congratulations to Philip and Nicole, who will be married on June 16th, 2006 in Missouri. 61 days and counting...

He will see your comments and congratulations, so go ahead and post them. His sister Angie also wrote about this.

Now you know a large reason why Philip hasn't been blogging much.

A POST!

This is not Philip. This is his friend. Since he won't post, maybe I should just shut it down for him. What do you think? Then I would lose my sense of power, so we'll keep the blog.

Philip is doing well, and is presently working in a family real estate investing/construction business. He is healthy, and is growing in love and knowledge of the Lord. He won't blog, because he is busy and has more important things on his mind.

Until next time...

Friday, December 09, 2005

Philip, his brother, his sister, and two other friends of the family went spelunking! They went for 3 hours way back into a cave near their house. There is a stream flowing inside the narrow cavern, and way back inside they came to an underground lake. It was a hairy jaunt, with multiple members of the party getting wet while slipping on the wet mud on the stream bank. Also there was some bruises from slipping on the wet rock. They sang, and had a merry time exploring this cavern last Saturday.

As a side note, I (and our family) plan to visit Philip's family in about 2 weeks. We should arrive on Christmas Eve. (Phil, I plan to have a surprise for you by the time I get there)

This is Bryce filling in for Philip, who is distracted, busy, tired, and working, which are keeping him from regular updates.

Wednesday, November 16, 2005

Enjoy a few lighthearted snapshots of Philip, posted by his blogging representative.

Instead we'll be cleaning the house. Yay!!

And so I have returned, for the moment at least. The houses are going well; so well that I may actually buy one of them from my dad. Oh, and did Bryce mention that the alarm system on my pickup went haywire? Yeah, the only way to turn it off now is by a remote; you can turn off the key and take it out, but nothing happens. Imagine your most embarrassing moment, and then multiply it by 50 decibels. Then imagine this occurrence taking place inside the lumber-yard barn. This produces a magnificent echo which can be heard all across town. That's how embarrassed I was. Not to mention being locked inside the truck earlier that day with the alarm going off. The security system wouldn't allow me to use the power locks. This other incident took place at the house I'm working on, and because it often becomes necessary for me to break in through I window (the locks on the house keep messing up), the neighbors must have thought I was a perpetual burglar trying to steal my own truck. And imagine that after all that, I still had enough compassion in my big heart to provide my truck some new paint.

In my opinion, the three most heartless creatures (aside from humans) in my life are cats, cars, and computers. I pour out loving care from the depths of my heart, and yet they refuse to show me any trace of kindness. Maybe they are the reason why I've been driven into reclusion for the past few weekends, only popping my head out for the occasional square dance or truck pull. Tough life.... ~sigh~

I'll probably be talking to you all again in the next month or two.......

Sunday, October 02, 2005

No, I can testify that he is not dead. I personally spoke with him last night. He did fall off a wagon while we were talking, but he lived through it...

This is Bryce filling in for Philip. It is truly his life from a "biased perspective", as his header says. I have unlimited access to his blog (I could even change his password!), but will restrain myself from abusing my authority by purposefully annoying him. I will be occasionally telling you what he is doing.

Presently Philip is remodeling two houses. They were purchased by his family for the purpose of refurbishing and selling. He bought a short-bed, ½ ton, brown/tan, Chevrolet truck, and will be selling his Toyota Camry. Philip has been square dancing every week or two with a community square dancing club. Those are most of his current happenings as of Saturday evening.

You will probably hear from the guy himself once in a while...

Until next time…

This has been Bryce, his authorized personal blog agent.

After getting home, I've bought a truck and started remodeling two houses. My life has been just a teensy bit busy, so Bryce, go ahead and update my site whenever the urge overtakes you. Someday I'll get on here and spend some time telling you all about the wonderful boring events of my post-wcwc life, but until then, Bryce's posts will have to do.

More fire found it's way to me yesterday, but this time it was in the form of ants. Yeah, I set my gloves on the ground before eating lunch, and when I put them back on.........Yyyoooow!!!! Full of fire ants. That's Texas for ya.

Only seven more days in TX, and five more days of work! I am so excited! I've been living out of my suitcase for about the last two years, so it'll be good to be heading home for the foreseeable future. As soon as I get back to MO, I will have two large remodel jobs to start up, but this time it will be better than ever. My dad bought two fixer-upper houses in a town seven miles from home, and he wants me to remodel them. They'll probably take about five and eight weeks to complete, so this should keep me busy for a long time. Hopefully I'll be starting a distance learning program through Thomas Edison University as well.

Oops, time to get to work. See y'all later,
