Not sure what to do...

Recently, someone has come back into my life. This someone has caused pain in the past, and yet I find that time has healed those wounds. Am I planning on seeing this person? Yes. Does this person and I have a lot to discuss? Again, yes.

One question remains: Do I dare hope?

Females are very complicated...

I just dont get it. Why would a chick continue to date someone who's cheated on her for the duration of the relationship? If someone has the answer to that, let me know.

In other news, I'm finally having my port (a medical device implanted in my chest that was used to administer chemotherapy/draw blood) removed. I have to admit, I'll be glad to not have it anymore. I'll admit, it was very nice to have it, but now that it's not in use I find it annoying. Not to mention, it hurts every time I bump it.

I hope life gets less crazy soon...

Way to go, FEMA

I was reading a story on cnn.com http://www.cnn.com/2006/US/02/11/katrina.evacuees.ap/index.html  about how FEMA has begun to stop funding hotel stays for Hurricane Katrina evacuees. Now I'm sure it's expensive for the federal government to pay for evacuees to stay in hotels, but what happened to taking care of our fellow citizens who are in need? As shown in the video on the page, people are having to restort to living out of their vehicles! People are falling between the cracks in the system!

I wish there was something I could do. Seeing this kind of thing outrages me as an American! We're fighting a war overseas (I do support the troops) and yet we cant take care of our own citizens? There is something exceptionally wrong with that.

Way to go, FEMA and way to go Mr. President.

It's Friday...

...and it's shaping up to be yet another boring weekend at Wright State University, oh joy. Sure, I have the big "Beat Butler" basketball game tomorrow, but that's about it as far as plans go.
