Hey everybody.  Nothing new is really going on, but I thought I would just give a quick update.  Still haven't heard from Green Bay yet, but its still early in the month, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed.  I've applied for little jobs here and there in St. Louis, just to make a few extra bucks.  Other than that, just been chillin most of the time.  Not too long ago Danny H. and I went to the Tivoli to see Strangers with Candy.  Its one of those movies thats so stupid, that its stupid lol.  It made me chuckle a few times, but god was it stupid.  After that we went to this cafe(I think) that had hookahs.  For those of you who dont know what a hookah is (and I wasn't too familiar with it either), its a middle-eastern/south asian device that you smoke out of.  It actually kinda looks like a bong.  The thing is, it contains flavored tobacco.  (I hope I'm explaining this right) Well, this cafe sold all these different flavors and we ended up getting mango I think.  Man, it was really good, and u don't smell like smoke afterwards.  The wierd thing is, I started feeling a little light headed after a while.  (we were smokin that thing for about an hour.  it lasts a long time).  But it was cool though.  It looked like we were doing something illegal lol, but it wasn't of course.  That was a fun night.  Last Friday I went to Dave and Busters with my mom and brother.  My mom hates that place, but the only way that my brother would be able to get in is if she went.  Man we had a lot of fun.  Their games are fun, and its a cool atmosphere.  Its a little TOO loud though!  Geez.  Later that night I met up with Carrie and TJ at West Olive and we saw The Descent.  THANK GOD...a horror film thats different and actually kinda scary!  Memo to U.S. horror film makers:  Just let England make horror films from now on...Sunday I went to Best Buy and picked up a few movies.  They had a pretty good sale...I ended up getting Memento: special Edition, Seven: special edition, and the Best of Will Ferrell vol 2 for just $23!  Not bad at all if u ask me.  Well, we've finalized plans to head up to Sedalia for the State Fair in a couple of weeks.  Carrie, TJ, Kelly, and I are gonna be heading to Warrensburg next Thurs, meeting up with the rest of the crew, then heading to the fair for some drunken fun!  lol.  The Friday I think we're doin Club Blue, and then Saturday night its WESTPORT and Scootie's for more partyin!  I CANNOT WAIT!  I wish it was next Thursday already.  Anyway, that's all that's happenin with me.  Peace out.

Thought of the day:  Thanks to Carrie, Kelly, TJ, Danny, Kristian and the crew up in Warrensburg and KC for hangin out with me this summer.  It gets pretty boring around here, and I'm soooo glad that you guys call to go hang out!  Congrats to Greg for his move to KC!

The past week has been fun, yet wierd, confusing, and just a general pain in the ass.  Well, as most of you know, St. Louis got hit pretty hard with some freak storms that started last Wednesday.  Our house was left without power for about 2 and half days.  There are still a lot of people without power.  I'm pretty sure most of Overland is still out actually.  My family couldn't even find any available hotels to stay in cuz they were all full of storm vicitims.  It sucked, but luckily our power was restored last Friday evening (thank god).  When our power was out, I spent a lot of time at the movies...there was no way i was gonna stay at home in all that heat.  This past week I saw A Prairie Home Companion, Superman Returns (again), and Monster House.  PHC is actually pretty good.  I know there are a lot of people saying it wasn't that good, but I had heard the opposite from critics.  I think the reason why people dont like it is because its different.  People don't like things that are different.  That's why I tend to listen more to critics.  Monster House was good too.  I swear computer animation keeps getting better and better.  Those people in that movie looked soooo real.  Friday, Carrie and I met Kristian up at Pink Galleons and then went out to Courtney Guilford's house to visit.  I hadn't seen her since I graduated and it was good to see her.  Saturday, Carrie, TJ, and I met up with Kristian and several others up at Voodoo in Harrah's.  NOW THAT WAS FUN.  My only gripe is that their drinks are a little bit expensive.  But the music was good, and I loved the atmosphere.  Sorry if anyone got any crazy phone calls from me that night! (that just means I was having a good time!)   Sunday was my mom's company picnic at Creve Couere(?) Park.  It was a lot of fun.  Everyone had so many great things to say about my mom.  It actually made me kinda proud!  The past couple of days have been completely uneventful.  Since I don't have a job yet, I just get so bored and so tired of being at home!  I wanted to go to the Tivoli tonight, but that didn't work out.  So once again, I just stayed at home and watched TV.  I don't know how much longer I can without working.  There are some things in development though.  I'm kind of just playing a waiting game.  I sent my resume's to KMOV channel 4 and KETC channel 9 last week.  Hopefully they give me a call some time soon.  I also applied for an apprenticeship position for a CBS affiliate in Green Bay, WS.  Basically they teach you how to become a producer...and you get paid for it!!!  They called me last week and told me they received my application and I should hear back from them sometime next month!  Apparently my chances are good since there have only been a few applicants and they have 12 positions open!

So, now onto some bigger news I guess...well its more of a dilemma...Luke gave me a call a few days ago asking if I wanted to move out to LA with him some time next month.  I totally want to do it, especially since I've always figured I would move out there anyway.  My only thing is, I don't have that much money to begin with, and I just don't feel secure enough moving out there with a minimal amount of money.  The funny thing is, everyone that I have talked to says that I should just take a chance and move out there anyway.  Even the people that I worked with in Kansas City gave me the same advice.  Luke is all about rolling the dice and taking a chance.  What should I do? I don't want to be one of those people who moves out to LA and then fails.  When I move to LA, I want to make sure that I can stay there for a long period of time.  I don't really want to move back to St. Louis.   I know that I want to wait a while and see if CBS calls me back from Green Bay.  I would love to take that job.  I guess if I don't hear back from Green Bay anytime soon, then I'll do it.  I would like to save up a little more money too.  I don't know what to do really.  I guess we'll see what happens.  Its just so wierd to think that in a month or two I may not even be living in St. Louis anymore!   Oh well, I've kinda run outta things to write about.  If you've actually read through all this shit, then you deserve a trophy

Look, Up in the Sky - The Amazing Story of Superman

Hey everybody...well I'm back from Kansas City and I must say that I had a very interesting experience.  I'm definitely glad to be back in St. Louis.  Since I've been back, I haven't really done much.  I've just been relaxing and enjoying my time off...(you have to remember I worked 6 days a week, 12 hrs a day).  I saw Superman Returns and it was absolutely amazing.  I would highly recommend it.  My expectations were high, especially since the reviews had been so good, and I was not disappointed!  If anyone wants to go and see it, lemme know!  I wanna go see it again!  I went to America's Pub this weekend for Carrie's bday and ended up seeing some people from high school that I hadn't seen in years!  It was crazy!  That was a great night.  Carrie, you cracked our shit up!    Danny and I went and saw Nacho Libre and An Inconvenient Truth last night.  Ok, I really had no desire to see Nacho Libre, but you know what, Danny and I laughed our asses off throughout that entire movie.  Its just one of those movies where it is just so stupid, you have to just accept it for what it is, a stupid funny movie.  An Inconvenient Truth was really really interesting too.  When you leave the movie, you will actually want to do something to help stop global warming...well that's at least how I felt after I saw it.  This Thursday, Carrie and I are going down to CMSU to chill for the weekend.  It'll be cool to hang out with the crew again!  Well I guess that's about all!  Hope everyone's summer is going well.  Peace

Thought of the day:  I've been seriously thinking about moving to LA sometime in the near future.  I worked with so many people from the LA area and they all pretty much had the same advice for me: Pack your shit and move!  I told everyone that I didn't think that I could afford to just pack up and move away, but they said that would be the best thing to do.  Finding work in LA apparently isn't as hard as it seems.

Hey everybody.  I haven't updated in a while, and quite frankly I don't even think anyone is reading this, but here goes nothing!  I'm still in Kansas City working on the National Geographic movie.  I got to go out on set for a couple of days, and it was an amazing experience. Initially, I had to let it sink in...Terrence you are on a freakin movie set!  Oh, I was so excited.  One of the assistant directors was really nice.  He pulled me aside and walked me through what was going on in the scene and everything.    For someone who LOVES movies, it was an experience I will never forget.  I've also completed my objective of making a few connections and getting some great advice!  Working in the office sux sometimes, but overall my experience has been totally worth it.  I thought my last day was going to be this Saturday, but they actually want me to stick around for another week!  So, I wont be back in St. Louis until July 2nd probably.Other than working 12 hours per day, 6 days a week, I've been having a lot of fun chillin in Kansas City!  I could write about my job in a lot more detail, but there's just too much to tell!  I hope everyone is doing well down in STL!  I'll see everyone soon.

Thought of the day:  Only 8 more days til SUPERMAN RETURNS!   And advanced reviews are nothin but raves!!!!!! Can't wait!

Just a quick update for everyone.  I have some good news!  Right now I'm in Kansas City working with National Geographic for an upcoming IMAX film!  I'm really excited about it.  Its only a two week job, but its paying really well.  Right now I'm only working in the offices, but in a couple the weekend after next, I'll be on set with everyone else in Kansas for the weekend, so I can't wait for that.  I'm just tryin to make some connections and get my foot in the door.  The assistant director already seems impressed with me, so that's a really good thing.  This job is going to be grueling, let me tell you.  Everyday is a 12 hr. day...yep, 8am -8pm.  Yesterday was my first day, and let me tell you, when I got home, I was exhausted.  Luckily Cody is letting me stay with him while I'm in town.  Thank God for that.  So, for the next couple of weeks, I'll be extremely busy.  But hopefully the Crew from Central will be able to come up and visit me sometime soon!!!  That's all that's been goin on right now.  Back in STL on the 20th!  Peace.

Thought of the day:  I don't know what is wrong with everyone.  Despite a few areas of corny dialogue, X-MEN 3 was GREAT.

2nd Thought of the day:  The Superman Returns trailers keep getting better and better.  The newest one is AMAZING!  Can't wait!!!
