#1. DO NOT LEAVE A COMMENT, IM ME, OR EMAIL ME ASKING FOR A SONG LINK. The next few steps are the same steps I follow when looking for a song or video URL. Therefore, if you can't find the song you're looking for.. I won't be of much help either.
#2. Okay, before you start looking anywhere for a song or video.. I strongly advise that you check one of the music search engines that I have listed below. Although you won't always find the exact URL you're looking for using the music searches, the chances and speed of finding it will increase greatly. After all.. the majority of the music links you see on all these xangas are found this same way.
Instructions: - Search for your song or video. - Right click the song link and click "copy shortcut". Make sure it's the song link that you click. Sometimes there will be a song link and a link to the site the song is located at. - Sign into your Xanga and go to the CLAF. Find the box that says "Music URL" and paste your song link there. - Save changes and that's it.
#3. Try searching the band's site or record label. Often times, they'll have a few of their more popular songs posted.
#4. The next best option is to start browsing through all the top music xanga sites.. which I will also make a list of below. I've split them up into different genres to help make it easier. Everything:
Metal, Hardcore, Emo, Punk, & Rock:
Rap & Hip Hop:
Country:
Techno, Rave, & Trance:
Other:
Videos:
#5. If all else fails and you're pretty desperate to find the song.. you can try to Google it. Just type something along the lines of "songname.mp3" or "songname streaming download" into the search bar. The chances of finding it this way are slim, but it's possible. Every song you can possibly think of is on the internet somewhere, some are just harder to find than others.
