CHARLOTTE, North Carolina (Dec. 22, 2007):
It was reported to the Charlotte police on this day, December 22nd, 2007, that a baby Jesus figurine was stolen from someone's outdoor nativity scene. The Charlotte police decided to take an action and post signs around the city for help in looking for the missing baby Jesus.
CHARLOTTE, North Carolina (Dec. 23, 2007):
The Charlotte police received a phone call from a Jewish man who offered to purchase another baby Jesus for the poor woman's nativity set, and, before the police officer could thank him for his kind offer, the man added that he would insert a GPS system in the baby Jesus so if it was stolen, the police could track Jesus down. The police officer gave the O.K. and the GPS equipped Jesus now stood (er...laid, whichever you prefer) in his hay-filled basket on this glorious Charlotte afternoon.

I woke up to a newspaper headline entitled "GPS Equipped Jesus Stolen."
