| tight jeans and giant belt bucklesLast weekend was a really good time, Kim, Kelly, Carrie and I went to Hinkley to watch some cute cowboys ride some big bulls. It was so much fun. I felt a little bit like a hick, but when you're having that much fun, who the hell cares?
We stayed at the casino hotel...gambled...drank...had some buffet...flirted with some guys...had a good time all around.
I love taking road trips with my friends.
This week sucks for work. My classes are killer...and I seriously have no time to myself. Today for example... class from 8-12, 2-3, work from 4-10. fun, eh?
well, I gotta get goin now. I have basically a half hour to get ready for work.

| Wow, it's been quite sometime. A lot has happened lately. I've been realizing many things that I wish I would have realized ages ago.
I miss some friends...well, the times we used to have anyway. It's strange when you realize the people that you thought you knew the best---that you thought knew you the best-- turn out to have nothing in common with you. You live and learn.
I need to start studying soon, I have a test tomorrow morning at 8am. I've been doing well with school thus far. My classes are KILLER! I wish I would have taken an easy major...like english, or poli sci...or something that didn't require so much thinking. I gotta say, Honors chem is so much fun...but it's a lot of work too. Cell bio is probably my favorite class this semester. I have it with Kirstin. we've talked a few times...I've talked to TJ too. Her and Aaron are engaged. I really like Aaron. He was always a very nice guy. I was considering apologizing to Kirstin...I think that'd make me feel better. maybe I'll write her a little email.
Heidi Fick had a baby! on her 21st birthday! ...crazy!
3 1/2 months until we go to Vegas!!! Me and Adam are gonna have so much fun checkin' out the Hoover Dam..he wants to rent 4wheelers to go riding in the desert too...haha i told him noooo way. we can ride 4wheelers up at my cabin! Besides I don't wanna spend like 200 bucks doing that when I could be makin' some mad dough in the nickel machines!!! hahahahaha
We're staying at MGM...Katie and some other people are coming along as well.
I met someone who I have a lot in common with, and I like to talk to ...we've hung out a few times alone and he was a perfect gentleman. At the bar last night, I was supposed to meet him...but coudln't find him anywhere! I didn't really look super hard tho either. Apparently he was at the round bar in the Karoke room...I don't know how I didn't see him---or how he didn't see me! LOL... I even sang Karoke with Ed really loud! ...and this tall guy kept chasing me down trying to get me to dance with him. So Id dance, then walk away. haha, then he'd come find me again. It was kinda humourous.
I need a manicure again. I have that gift certificate I got from Katie for xmas...for the spa thing. I could use that and get a pedicure/manicure/hair cut and some highlights. I just hate to go to someone I don't know or trust to get my hair did. ...not after that bad bad experience last year!
Well, I've gotta crack the books now!!! and learn all about DNA replication and polyermases and all those other enzymes---and the transcription and blah blah blah. truth is, I know most of this stuff already...so now it's just a review.

| I don't really feel
like updating, but I'll do it anyway. Schools almost
over...thannnnk god. Not that I hate it or anything, but I
totally need a break. I'm just going to relax and do a whole lot
of nothing over winter break.
My blazer got rear-ended by some girl last week. freakin'
a. Thank god she had insurance. My truck is pretty much
fucked up...but her insurance pays for me to have a dif car, and
they'll pay for the damages to my truck. Dad thinks my blazer may
actually get totalled because he says that he thinks the body is
kinked. If that's the case, then i get a new truck. That'd
be sweet...except for that I really love mine. shit happens tho.
My kitten is getting so big now. He's so cute. I should
post a pic of him or something. He's so sweet ...and penny and
sophie love him too.
Ummm...nothing else really to say. I might bake some cookies
tonight and have a glass of wine. I should invite adam over, but
I think he's probably got to study tonight. After all...it is
finals. I'm gonna stay home and finish reading "memoirs of a
geisha" ...I really really really love this book so far. I wish i
was asian.
