Wow, it has been a long time since I last logged onto Xanga. It is a bit awkward since I haven't done any serious writing for some time now so I am not too sure what to say without sounding a little mediocre. Not much about my personality has changed. Physical appearance, however, has changed quite a bit but I am sure that that was all apart of just growing up so I guess you would think that it is nice to grow up and  change for once. I think in my instance, I changed for the worse. Who knows? =P Well, my lifestyle is certainly a lot more different now since I am taking some time off of school to refocus on family and my career. It has been a tougher experience in recent times, but I know I am still here and hanging in there as best as I can because really, that is all I can do. My dad recently had a stroke and nearly passed away and that is what caused me to realize I wasn't ready for that sort of commitment with school. Maybe this fall when I do go back, things will be better and hopefully I will have the drive to carry on and finish school like I was supposed to this year. Each day, I just take one deep breath and hope that as the time draws near for me to be serious about my life again, that I will actually follow through this time around. Here's hoping.
