| how do you do it? the way you laugh.
the way you raise your eyebrows
after a single kiss. the way you sneak
a peek during that kiss. the smile you
have on your face while you sleep.
of course i stayed up to watch you
in a deep slumber. it intrigues me.
the way you hide your emotional
tears from me. as if i dont already
know how you are feeling. being
together again...its amazing. just
being able to look you in the eyes
or even speak to you again. that was
the present i wanted the most. i got
more than just that. more than i ever
hoped for. like you said, you should
never try for something that you know
you dont have a chance at getting.
i spilled my guts and on the inside you
cried and on the outside was a hug, my
tears soaking your shirt, and that smile.
more on the inside came that feeling.
you know what it is, i know what it is
but for fear of getting hurt again i am
sure thats why we dont say it. i am so
close now. more than ever before. no
matter what anybody says can change
that. only what i want matters to me.
only a few people matter but only one
factors in the things i do. thats you.
its fresh and new. turning over a new
