| Welp its good to be back in good ole Abilene...but its even better to have something to do here now that everyone is slowly returning to their houses here. This summer was abolutely amazing but also just a good time to catch my breathe from the crazyness of life called last semester!!
Its def. been a good start to be back the last several days, I have gotten to spend time with alot of people I havent seen in a while but its been amazing to see what HE has done in and through their lives in the past couple months. It seems like so many people had incredible opportunities just to serve HIM this summer through internships, mission work, or just in their home church!! Wow its crazy how sometimes when we just step back and look at life we realize just how blessed we are through the people and situations HE has given us.
Along with the amazing things a lot of crazy things happened this summer that have really made me think differently about a lot of stuff but mainly, just life....I know a lot of people who have experienced great loss and suffering which oddly enough has encouraged me through a lot of the struggles I have faced this summer and continue to face even now....sometimes I wish I could be numb emotionally just for a second so I could catch my breathe and just heal a little....hmm...
I dont know random thought and statement but so true God has showed me alot of examples this summer of how he can use even the most painful situations we face in life for the good, and for HIS glory....wow!!.... sometimes life hurts and it hurts alot and for a long time, and we dont understand why but HE is there and HE brings glory to HIS name through the peeling away of our world, flesh layers to bring forth the amazing people HE created us to be....marred yet comsumed... | | |
| Welp people my time here in Spain is quickly coming to a close....tomorrow I have all three exams for my class..well two exams and a presentation...so yall def. please pray for that because if you think exams in english are hard try the ones in spanish....my spanish has def. improved in the time I have been here like a lot but I am still figuring out how much I still suck at it ....but oh well for now....anyways past that we gotin yesterday form venice, italy and seriously it was like all the movies....that place is amazing!!!! I def. am extremely homesick and really miss the states and all you guys at home a ton...I miss hearing all the things HE is doing in your lives or allowing you to do...I miss be able to hear and be there for all the stuff going on in peoples lives at home...crazyness and I havent missed in until the last couple days knowing I am coming home to see all of yall soon has made me want to come home so much sooner !!! Anyways pseaking of that pray for our flight home and safety and stuff because there has been a ton of bombings going on over here some of which the states arent even talking about and probably wont....but yeah just pray for the families of the victims if no other reason then I bet the were thinking of and prayin for us in our times of struggle and grief during 9/11 ....anyways miss you guys tons....and see yall soon !!!!!!!! | Thank yall all for all the prayers for the Wofford family in this time....everything went extremely well considering the circumstances, at least from what I have heard...so to HIM alone be our praise!!!! On a slightly different note me and about 7 other people are leaving for Venice Italy and just need yalls´ prayers for safety and protection...and I know....yall can be jealous...just kidding I will bring back lots of pics for yall....I am still in awe of the amazing opportunity He has allowed me to have to come over here and study and to see all of this!!!! | Whats up guys this is the saddest day of my year so far and hopefully no worse .......I need everyone who reads this to do me a huge favor, If can ask nothing else of you ever I just ask this one thing.....PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE pray for the Wofford family...if you dont know whothey are or who Natalie is she is one of the greatest christian influences on my life...and one of my best if not my best girlfriend period....she is an amazing woman with an incredible family especially her mom and her brother was shot and died on monday....He is frappin 18 yrs old!!!!!!!!!! He just graduated from highschool and was gonna go military this summer or fall I think....regardless He was a child like us and I would really appreciate it if yall would pray for him.....and for the family especially!!!! I dont care who yall pray to or if you pray or not but please pray for them now......or at least keep them in mind or whatever.... | | |
