| I picked up this nice CRKT knife in Baltimore a while back. Even though
it cost me $50, it was sharp and it looked dangerous. The salesperson
warned me that a lot of customers cut themselves on this particular
knife. So I made sure to wipe the blade down with rubbing alcohol after
I brought it.
So how sharp was it? Well there was this one time when I was prying
with the knife and my hand slipped... It scratched the base of my left
thumb. The light scratch was only about half an inch long, barely
visible, and I thought nothing of it at first. Then about ten seconds
later, I was running around clutching my left hand trying to staunch
the bleeding. I still have a scar from that "scratch."
Recently, I was cutting through some grimy (probably disease infested)
packages of meat when the knife slipped and I pricked myself in the
hand through the nitrile gloves I was wearing. The frigging knife went
through the nitrile gloves while cutting who knows what diseases that
thing have. I was in an uproar. I tried to wash the wound the best I
could. I wasn't worried about bleeding since it was only a prick but...
Apparently, my nice expensive knife is especially dangerous to me.

| For all those who were asking: I'll be back home (for good this time,
seriously) this coming Wednesday. Unfortunately, I also start work the
following day.

| Thank you guys for coming to my going away party. Even tho' it is still
a few weeks away, I'll miss all the fun get-togethers like Wai-kin's
bbq parties, Phil's birthday party, Laurine's house warming, etc.
Today was definitely great. I dunno how Dean managed, but yeah, somehow
he found the restaurant I was talking about. I only vaguely remember
the place since I've only been there once. Food was great. I think the
total came out a bit more than I wanted tho. So sorry. Afterwards, we
went to Monster for some singing and drinking. I sang myself ragged.
Ugh, I can't sing anymore. I should never sing again. It was like... I
can sing the song in my head but... my throat just gave out. Then, we
ended the night at Tropical for even more dice-rolling and drinking.
Surprisingly, I'm not drunk yet. Thats right! Not even red in the face.
Anyway, thank you guys for everything. I'm just gonna miss New York even more. Now, I have a few more hours before work...
