Hellooooooo out there!
Guess it's been a little while since I've been here. My picture-taking came to an abrupt halt after the display on my camera broke.... the camera dropped onto the pavement when I got out of the car on June 14, 2008. :-o

Today's weather has been gorgeous.... I give this day a "10."
But I hear the that the rest of this week is going to be in the 90's...muggy & sticky.
Hmmmmm..... quick! where can I find the 70-degree temps??? That's where I'd rather be!
Summer is Zzzzzzzzzzz-ipping by at lightning speed! :-*(
I guess that's not ALL bad.... just means we're getting that much closer to my first grandchild (girl) being born in October! Yeah!
It sure has been nice having my person IT guy here this summer! (Evan) along with a visit from my Chief IT guy... my wonderful son-in-love, Derek! What would I do without these men??? I wouldn't be on a computer, that's for sure!

Clarification...
...RE: my "stay warm" comment in last post...
We had a very warm and humid day on Saturday... or some other day this weekend and I thought summer had finally arrived for real... Then... ska-DOOSH! It got down in the 40's overnight and didn't get out of the 50's during the day! However, today was picture perfect in all ways! Cool, clear blue sky with bright sunshine... Ahhhhh. We'll still need to pile on the blankets tonight.... I love it!

May is just about to disappear and I've neglected Xanga.com!
Badly done, Nan, badly done!
And I only have enough time today to say, "Hi!" and that I'll post more later. My computer time has been taken over by... Facebook! Mostly because I like the word games I get to play there...which takes up LOTS of time...
Xanga is actually quite nice to be able to keep in touch with more space to write posts such as this.
Still, I have not said much of anything... well, later gators!

April showers are upon us!
With all the rain we've been getting, I'm assuming we're gonna have gorgeous flowers poppin' up in May!
As an old song says, "Life is moving faster than it ever has before; what tomorrow brings us isn't certain any more.
So many roads from which to choose, don't know which way to run; 'cuz all those roads lead nowhere....every road except....for one!
Praise the Lord! He never changes!"
It goes on....but my memory of the words was getting fuzzy...so better to stop right there!
OK. Have a great month of April! Hope Tuesday is not too hard on you (the 15th...when the government takes away most of our income)... Start saving NOW for April 15, 2009!

February is fleeing....
Yes, yet another month is passing away...slipping through our fingers like the sand on the California beaches...
I look out my window and what do I see.... SNOW. I shoveled the driveway on Tuesday after we got some heavy wet snow...maybe got about 3 inches or more. I was almost done shoveling when my neighbor came over and said, "I have a snow blower. Do you want me to finish this for you?" Um.... where were you 1 hour earlier, huh?!
Those were inner thoughts.... I told him that if we got more snow this week I would take him up on that offer since Jim will be driving out to CA. So, let it snow.
Hope all is well out there in the little corner of the world where you reside.
Here's our pretty snow! It looks like the Lord took His "paint brush" and painted each branch ever so delicately with white paint!
