Our extremely posh and happy...home away from home

Champagne and stawberries were definitely included....and then there was our deck!

Traveling in style!

We arrived at LAX...were driven to the Crown Plaza where we had coffee/tea and pastries while we pre-registered.

Bus then took us to the Ship Terminal where we were rushed through to the boarding line and security...and within a very short time we were on board.

Just the beginning of a dream trip!

I'm a nut...

Well the start looks good eager to see the rest i could eatoneof those little cakes one thing I am al;ways partial too. At the moment I eatMr.Kiplimgs Cherry Bakewell tarts. These were English and made not by Mr. kipling but these are made out here not as good as the English ones but nice. I am off to have one now Lots of Love marj

That is more elegant than I imagined. Of course, my only glimpse of it was The Love Boat. Anyway, I thought all the elegance was in the public areas and the super rich deluxe quarters. That looks nicer than the last very nice hotel I stayed at.

That suite certainly beats the regular cramped rooms!! The balcony furniture is beautiful, too. Our balcony had cheap plastic chairs. Yep, it looks like those rear suites are the best. We were on the Sun Princess, which is much smaller than your ship. I would have liked to try one of the bigger ships, but sis had been on one, and didn't like it. I was just happy to go on another cruise, so didn't mind.

From this and the couple of previous posts I can tell cruising is something we could all use at least once a week. Food, lodgings, the views all look like heaven on earth. I'm glad you and RawTuna had a wonderful time. Everyone deserves a little pampering when they spend a lifetime at work.

About my entry for the Flower Smellers, nothing really to do but be myself or maybe better than usual here in Xanga. No obligations otherwise. I have checked out their site pretty well. I doubt I will write there, only just comment here and there.
