Oh man, I had no idea this even still existed. LOL. 

Well, I don't really have any updates.  Still in NYC.  Just went through a break up. That has been very hard.  Still working at CCMP Capital.  Trying to love and live my life.  Not really anything special going on.  Just getting into some really great music, going to some really great museums and meeting a lot of really great people.

New Yorker

Well, I DID IT!!!  I am officially a New Yorker!  I moved here on August 10th and have been loving it ever since!  AND... I GOT A JOB!   I am a Receptionist/Administrative Assistant for JP Morgan/CCMP on Park Avenue!  I am making the big bucks, making rent and I love it.  I work 7:30am to 4:30pm (early, I know.) shift, so if I get an audition I can go in the evening!  Yay!  My apartment is just lovely.  I'll upload pics soon.  Man, there is nothing like being an adult.  Holy crap.  I never knew this day would come!  It's awesome, but wow.  I miss Baylor!  Good luck to all of you still in school.  I miss you...terribly.  When I can I'll come in and visit.  Stay out of trouble!

so far this summer i've:

made 79 Top Shelf Guacamoles
burned my hands on the tortilla grill 5 times
had jalepeno juice in my eyes 8 times
been cursed out by mexican cooks who didn't think i knew spanish
been hit on by mexican cooks who didn't think i knew spanish
broken 1 garter rita glass
said "i hate (insert name here)" 15,325,642 times

and other than el chico:

said goodbye to jonathan... he moved to LA... one of the hardest nights ever.

also i've:

seen the Lakehouse--i love sandra, but i don't know about that concept
used 156786151234894815 minutes on my cell phone talking to jeny
purchased 0 pairs of shoes (thats an achievement)
done my laundry every week
made my bed every day
spent as much time with my parents as possible...

please continue to pray for a cure for alzheimers as my father is still sick...

wow.

today was my last day of class forever.
today was my last time to wake up to an alarm for class.
today was my last day to pay college rent.
today i got my tassel.
today i took her to the airport.
today is our last banquet.
today has been a very, very sad day for me.

i am excited, don't get me wrong. but you know me, i'm never ready for change. i'm never ready for things to be different after they've been so comfortable. and i'm certainly never ready to say goodbye to some of my special ones.

i seriously never thought this day would come.  i mean, i had always dreamt of it, of course, but never did i think i would be here.  i guess everyone has to do it someday.  i'm just not sure i'm ready today.

wow... this is going to be harder than i ever imagined.
