Training Concept

There is a lot things coming up in regards to Training Concepts. We will be holding two classes towards the end of July, and then start rocking it hard in August and September.

I have put things off this summer as every weekend I am booked up for weddings. If you would like to see any wedding I photographed so far you can visit Spectrum's Blog by clicking here. We have some really great images up there.

Other than that, its been BBQ after BBQ. This 4th of July we will be hosting the biggest one yet, about 30 people. Man I love the 4th!

My apologize for not getting things going on here. I promise I will be moving forward here soon. Until then I am so busy with several other things right now.

Have a great 4th everyone!

My best friend moved tonight

Now, to be honest I think that I am here for anyone that needs me, and at the same time I know tons of people and associate with alot of people. We have a brotherhood at the FD and I will do anything for my boys down there. But there are only two people in my life that I can can my best friends. I have known Brandon and Matt for a very long time. We all have been through a shit load. Matt and I went through rehab together. While Brandon was in the Marines, I was the one that would drive 4 hours to pick him up from the airport.

We spent countless hours wasting away playing online video games. We all spent prom together with our dates. For the past 5 years, Brandon and I have hunted geese like there was no tomorrow. We are all each other's Best Men. I know alot of people have friends like this. But I only have two.

Brandon has been planning on moving with his wife. She is from Washington state and that is where they are heading. I knew it was coming, and a part of me resented him moving. Who doesnt want their best friend to move!!! But its finally came. Tonight was the last time we will see each other until Matt's wedding in September.

This really sucks. I mean really. I wish only the best for Brandon and understand he is a better man than I. I hope they find what their looking for and can actually make it. The other selfish part of me wish they get half way, realize they want to be back here, and come home. Seriously! We had a really great BBQ tonight, and man I make the meanest burgers you will ever find. Had the last badmitton tournament, and all of the kids just chilled.

I know we will see each other, and I know we will head up there and have a great time. Same goes for them and I know we will keep in touch like we always have. Im just sad...

Good luck out in Warshington guys. I know I can say it was a pleasure to be a part of your lives and this is only the beginning to better things.

Spectrums new baby

Spectrum Photographics has now launched their website. Ken and I worked mad hard to get this going. A huge thanks to BluDomain for hosting as well as template. For our first website, it looks pretty damn good. Spectrum will be launching its own blog soon. We are just not sure if we want to host it, or if we want to go with another site like Xanga to host. As soon as we get that going, this blog will be dedicated to Training Concepts only.

The launch

Spectrum will be launching the all new website. Over the last month I have personally sorted through hundreds of photos to get this thing going. Not only trying to get this accomplished before school is out, I have my other daily duties to handle. As soon as we launch, I will drop out the url. Im so excited about this!

I just got back from a very small vacation. Well, it was rather a time away from the studio. I went off to Grand Island for our annual firefighting conference. For all you Huskers, it was held at Fonner Park and well had a great time! I even took a few chances and bet on the Preakness! I took Curlin to win and he won! I was so excited.

Also a note about our last training class at Gering Photo. I will be sending out emails regarding some new resources that might come in handy. Give me a few days (after the launch) and I will make sure I get that going!
