| I interrupt this depressing xanga for some great news:
DAVID PEPKE FROM C21 COMMENTED ON MY C21 MESSAGE BOARD. I guess he found some free time and searched for some message boards. This is fucking awesome. Since 10th grade I've wanted some sort of contact with these guys-- a meeting or a tattoo signing (inside joke), holy crap.
My karma must be fixing! Congratulate me!

Dear everybody.
After 7 years filled with incredible experiences we have chosen to end C21.
Through
our time as a band we have been in the top of many hitlists, performed
in 11 countries, recieved 4 gold records, and sold more than 40.000
records here in Denmark and more than 250.000 in Asia.
We have met incredible many exciting people and been on a high number of stages.
But
everything has its own time - and to us, it is important to quit while
we're on the top. We have enjoyed our travel together, but now we both
face new adventures, which we are looking forward to step into.
David says:

Think about it. It is now time to say goodbye. It is kinda sad and it
feels like the last years have just flown by. But I'm holding my head
high because I feel I have learned a thousand things and I will always
keep my memories. So thank you for your neverending support and
enthousiasm.
Keep an eye on me, because I am so not finished in the music making business...”
Søren says:
”The
plans are that my solo album will be released in the autumn 2006, with
the first single in the early summer. That we're quitting at a time
where C21 stands in peoples minds as something positive can give us
both a great boost further on in our carreers.
I feel incredible
ready to pursue a solo carreer and I am very excited. It's a new era to
med and also the acting is something I will spend more energy on. I'm
already playing a role in two new movies in 2006 and more are
coming...... A whole new adventure is just beginning:0)......"
Before
the curtains fall one last time we really wish to thank all of you, who
have supported us through the years. Without you, we wouldn't have had
the possibilities to outlive our dream, without you C21 wouldn't have
been real. We hope you have enjoyed the ride as much as we have and we
are both looking forward to sharing many more special events with you
in the future.
