Interests: MUSIC. TENNIS. Hm, reading the classics now and then (although there aren't many left that I haven't perused...I'm going to have to start reading classics in other languages next). My whole life is now consumed with schoolwork, and I'd like to keep it that way. It keeps me out of any sort of drama. I love Math, though. I really want to skip Calc AB so I can take Linear Algebra at the University...but we shall see...
Expertise: Violin, any mallet instrument, Singing, Correcting others' mistakes, Art, Guzheng, and Daydreaming. A little bit of hypocracy now and then, but that's just to throw Jen into a state of confusion. Oh, and being annoying yet in accordance at the same time with Mr. Smith. Yes, I do realize that I fit the Asian stereotype. No, I don't have a problem with that. Fear my wrath as a rep for Student Senate...MWAHAHAHA... I like overachieving...it makes other people mad.

Okay, I know this might be a bit late, but still, it was funny, so, I present to you,

Halloween Celebrities

Al Roker

Matt Lauer

Ew...Jim Carey

Rachel Weisz

Seal and, would you believe it, Heidi Klub, acting weird.  I think they're supposed to be Eve, the snake, and the forbidden apple.

**Yes, Dan, I am well aware that it is, in fact, Heidi Klum, but I'm trying to emulate how a person with a cold would say it.**  Actually, no, it's a typo.

There are more pictures at http://entertainment.msn.com/movies/scarycelebs.  Viewer discretion is advised for the first one...Mariah Carey.

LVC CHAMPS!!!

Yay!  My partner Megan Wylie and I are LVIAC (Lehigh Valley Interscholastic Athletic Conference) 3rd doubles Champions! (Yes, Eileen, I finally made varsity)  And overall, Parkland Girls' Tennis is LVC Champs.  Boo yah.  I have a cute gold medal.

And I love playing with Sarah Schopf because she's so tall and intimidates everyone at net.

Home game against Fleetwood next Tuesday!

In other news...um...I doubled up in AP History (World and European) because I'm crazy like that, so now I don't have any study halls, and it's kind of tiring, but I just cram my lunch in 7th period and read like crazy.  AP Calc is okay, but he's kind of boring.  We're still on continuity, and I'm mad at Emmaus because they get to skip Calc AB.  Then again, if I skipped Calc AB, then I'd have to take Linear Algebra at Lehigh University in my senior year.  That would suck and take a huge chunk from my schedule.

Um...Spanish Honor Society induction was a huge waste of tiempo, so the inductions for Math and National Honor Societies better not be as long.

So how is everyone?  I like junior year; I get to load up on AP courses and no one complains about overachieving because everyone else does it too.  Oh, and I have to say, my chamber group is great!  We could basically play whatever we want, at whatever tempo (for our next chamber performance, we just might play Symphony #10 at 194 )

Enjoy your year!...I'll post up my airbrushed tattoo when I get to it.  *And I love the tramp stamps*

~Maggie
