Researching in the GIS lab with Bill and Molly.  We're helping get data for a hopeful future Southroad Heritage Trail.  I'm ready to be done with this for the evening.

Bill has a boyfriend who attends U Penn...

A girl came up to the window at work a little while ago while I was on the phone helping a student's mother.  I knew she was there, I turned to her and smiled, still on the phone.  She rang the bell loudly; like she was trying to hurt it.  This was unappreicated.  Then she tapped her fingers all over the counter and was rude to me when all of ten or fiftteen seconds later I got off the phone with the nice mother of a boy I see everyday.  First, the bell is for ringing when no one is at the window at that moment because we're in the back filing or something, not because I am on the phone with a customer.  If I went to another school, if I'd gone to CU, would the students be as rude?  Am I rude?  I really hate when they tap on the counter.  We all hate that one.  Sadly, nine times out of ten their parents are very nice, polite people, how did this not get passed on to their children?
