Only two photos but meh, its me and my parents at the wedding. As for the wedding itself it was very uneventful, and pretty blah. The food sucked and the bar was even worse. So yeah it was...an obligation and I'm happy its all over.

| Now friends there comes a point in everyone's life when they slap themselves on the head (I said head, not arse) and they say 'wow I'm an idiot'. Well dear people, yesterday I experienced such a moment. My xanga entry from yesterday talked about how I was constantly cold and having issues right? Well you know its amazing what happens when you don't think about how you diet and sort of go ahead and eliminate carbohydrates from your diet. I totally didn't think that it would cause consistent cold and shivers, lack of energy and ultimately fatigue. So let this be a lesson to all who are fighting the weight battle such as myself...do your bloody research first or you'll hurt yourself. This public service announcement was supplied on behalf of WizzyNezzy Inc. And now back to your regularly scheduled program.

| I know I'm not going insane but for this whole week our firm (currently eating lunch at my desk) has been absolutely freezing and I'm the only one who feels it! For the life of me I cannot get warm. This is such a stark contrast to a week ago when we had a heat wave and this place was boiling hot. What the hell people. Is it to so hard to set a space at around 77 degrees, its a good average! In other news yesterday we played against Vitetta in softball yesterday and got murdered 42-2. Now here is why besides the fact we suck. They cared, took it overly serious, and when we played one hand had the glove and the other was either holding a hot dog or beer. So in the end, in my opinion, we became victorious in our fun factor/level. Take that Vitetta. Hmm craving a pretzel...must go hunt one down before lunch ends.

| You know every time I take a break from drinking and focus more on my diet I make sure to go out with a last hoorah. Normally it wouldn't be to such an extent but my calendar has made it insane. Thats right ladies and gentlemen, I just completed three days of drinking. How am I still standing you might ask? Well lets go down memory lane...
Friday I met up with Erica, Kathryn, and Flax in the city for happy hour at one of our favorite little places called Fado. It's an Irish pub...with actual Irish people working in it. Its pleasant to hear the accent and know that they can pour a proper beer. We had some unbelievable food, I got my Smithwicks and was doing fine until Erica says those magic words 'Betty let's do shots!'. I laugh and respond thats usually my line. I was actually inclined to deny as the beer filled me up but she was so instant and offering to buy, so a shot of vodka went down the hatch. For that matter, Stoli's Vanilla is actually damn delicious when served cold. Afterwards we ended up at Erica's where we played trivial pursuit and played with her new kitty. End day 1.
Saturday I had scheduled to go to my friend Dave's graduation party in the northeast. No its not the big Dave who is like my brother, its the....other Dave. Anyway he has finally graduated from school (btw I say finally as if I'm even close to done yet lol) and his family was throwing him this party. What made it so awesome besides the really good company and food? Why an open bar of course. Yes my friends...an open bar. The look of shock was evident on all of our faces. I was even more shocked when they had bottles of Smithwicks. So I had about 3 of those, feeling fine, until my alter ego with the help of my friends decides we need to do shots with Dave to get him drunk. What better occasion then a graduation really? We literally sat at the bar, and played pick a shot. It was getting difficult to think of shots. I had a few but not too many as I did drive home, but I definitely had a wicked buzz going. Was a fun time. Drove back into the city and did some thesis work after I was completely sober. End day 2.
Sunday, today, I had another graduation party to attend. It's a bit depressing, my friends are younger then me, and all have there degrees. I just want that silly piece of paper...anyway. Marissa just graduated from Barnard which means she got out of school with a degree from Columbia. Not too shabby. She had the party in this really good Mexican restaurant up in the Northeast. Now originally I had no intentions to drink...SERIOUSLY I DIDN'T! DON'T GIVE ME THAT LOOK! *ahem* Like I said I hadn't planned on it especially considering the party got started around 11am. But by the time the food had come out around noon, everyone was starting to drink so I decided why the hell not. Later, me and Andrew (Missy you really need to im me, must speak to you lol) decided its her graduations...lets do shots lol. I had about 3 beers and only one or two shots, much less then yesterday and because I had eaten so heavly no buzz this time which I'm very thankful for. So now that we've discussed my three days of debauchery, lets talk about that weather.
Philadelphia is currently going through a heat wave. A horrific one at that. Yesterday it was 91, today 96, and tomorrow its going to be 100. My parents came to my apartment in the nick of time before it started to install my ac unit in my room which I am beyond thankful for, however it doesn't change the fact my general apartment has none. I came home yesterday, and refused to leave my room. I only left it to go to the bathroom or to prepare food and even that was unbearable. My place is like a fucking sauna and won't let up. I feel bad for Naomi who has no ac in her room. So with this explanation, you can see why I'm thrilled I have not been overly buzzed or G-d forbid hungover. But here comes the ultimate kicker. Tomorrow is Monday right, time to go back to work....the air conditioner in our building is broken. Its going to make work unbearable and actually a concern besides our general health in our computers. They are not going to like 100+ degree weather with humidity. It'll be interesting to see what happens.
And now with all of this I start my new goal of losing 5 pounds in 2 weeks for this upcoming wedding so I can fit perfectly into my dress. It fits now, and not even snug, but I just need a little more room in it and it will be perfect. Ask nicely, you might get photos. Oh and photos of the apartment on the way.
