So the first week of school is over and though my physical body is tired and achy, my spiritual being feels pretty energized and excited  it's one of those things that can only be explained when one starts to see God at work and eagerly expects Him to do amazing and profound things in the near future..

Jesus, help me to "walk by faith not by sight"..Help me to focus on quality, not on quantity...Help me to love unconditionally and to give immeasurably...I ask these of You not because I deserve it, but because Your grace is sufficient for me...

back from toronto.. tired.. been up since 6am (EST).. flown in 3 airplanes, waited in 4 airports, been searched and interrogated by countless folks.. it's been fun.. thanks, RT, for picking me up from the airport and chillin' for a while though back in good ol' irvine...now i have to finish packing for TCF leaders' conference tomorrow.. i'll update on the trip later.. i've got lots of pics..

on a side note, i really need to start getting active again.. who wants to be my running buddy this semester?  I need more accountability for my workouts..

its midnight and i'm tired. peace out..side...<from the fob within me.. hahaha>...

Two funny Orientation allusions today:

1) At Newsong today, I end up sitting right behind this guy who was wearing the Orientation Day #1 Uniform (red plaid shirt from Old Navy and khaki pants)!!!! hahahaha..ohhh man, I never knew that would conceivably be some sort of fashion outside the USC orientation world..  

2) Conversation at CBCCOC (church by my house):
Guy: Hey, are you Bonnie?
Me: Yea...?
Guy: You led my discussion group during orientation! I thought you seemed familiar..
Me: <pause with hesitation> yeeaaa....

lol..eventually I recognized him, but that incident made me realize that that'll prolly happen quite a bit next year.. I better start putting names to faces again.. but with 2000+(?) freshmen, it'll be kinda difficult.. hehe..we'll see what happens. it'll be fun to see bonnie making a fool out of herself.. again and again..  alas, the story of my life!

Anyhow, I'm leaving for North Carolina in less than 5 hours.. I'm still in the midst of packing - I struggle between laziness and apathy and overwhelming-ness all at the same time (excuse my poor diction).. I had high hopes in wanting to pack for school as well while packing for this brief trip.. but I got over it and decided to just spend my day back to pack for school before TCF retreat..

So here's my schedule for the next month:
Aug 2-5: North Carolina (uncle)
Aug 6-12: Toronto (dad/family)
Aug 13-15: Pre-Leaders Conference (TCF)
Aug 15-17: Pre-Season Conference (TCF)
Aug 18: Move-in Day
Aug 18-22: Welcome Week (also, working for Orientation)
Aug 23: Classes start!!!  aiyaaaa!!

Yea this summer has passed by all too quickly.. it seems like just yesterday I was in Hawaii after finals.. then orientation happened..and now this final 'vacation' before school restarts.. craziness.. i'm pretty excited about next year though.. God has crazy stuff in store, I know it.....bring it, babyyyyy!
