I am officially a Sr. in college and graduate in May with a BS in Music Business. Carnal's Rejection (a KC hip hop band) threw an awesome cd release party that I went to the day before I left for vacation...check 'em out on myspace. My vacation in Canada was pretty good and enjoyed seeing my relatives again. After I got back the fam all went out to celebrate all the b-days when Daniel came down before school. He bought me jewelry....I was shocked cause I usually get cd's and movies as gifts. This year at school is gonna be busy....8 classes in the fall, 6 in the spring and I'm gonna try to get on Agape staff this year. Hope everyone's doin well.

My jr. year of college is over. I'm kinda sad about it though because when I return my big brother will not be here.....he moves to Cali to be near his fiance after he graduates. I am in Tennessee right now finishing up my internship at a hip hop label before a week at home preparing for Canada where I'm visiting family w/ my parents, brother and his gf....over my birthday. Over Memorial weekend I went to Chicago to meet the bf's parents....it was alot to take in cause I ended up meeting the whole family. I also went back for a visit about a week and half ago which was good cause we both missed each other. He and I are both doing well though there were some events along the way that brought us together. After I get back from Canada my bf is coming down for a week before school starts....we're gonna chill and have fun....and he meets my brother and his gf as well. Then it's back to school as a senior. Hope everyone is doing good.

G-ville update

So I'm back at GC and busy again. Interterm was boring but I'm got rid of my lit. requirement. Workin again of course but only 1 night a week.....gotta make room for my busy schedule this spring......5-6 classes, AGAPE Music Festival in April, helpin book Poe's shows (my internship on campus), and the Christian Hip Hop radio show which I am now OFFICIALLY part of the crew instead of a weekly guest.....I put together the playlist every week. I have a new roommate (she's pretty cool) and been gettin along good. Christmas rocked w/ seein my brother and parents and my brother's gf bein my temporary roomie at home. We even went to see some movies....it was good not workin because or else there would be no break. Life's good, no drama, no boy problems (there may be someone in teh picture though but we'll see how that goes), back at church. This summer should be real fun cause I have an internship in Tennessee at a hip hop label (this will be my first semester away from KS but I'll have fun) and I'm also gonna try to take summer classes and who knows maybe Brandon will be in the area. Hopefully in August as well the family will get to go to Canada to see the relatives. Hope everyone is doin good and I'll try to keep everyone updated. My life is continually gettin busier and busier but I'm not mindin it to much.

Update of my Fall Semester at G-ville

Let me tell you this semester has been crazy. We have a new music business department head who has quite a resume when it comes to the music business and is an entertainment attorney. I have him for 4 classes and am tryin not to get my butt kicked. I'm back workin in the dishroom and the manager has given me the nickname "dish queen" and workin there up to 20 hrs a week. I'm also survivin have 6 classes.....4 w/ Dr. Wray the new music business guy. 2 of my 6 classes are the hpr and microeconomics which means quizes, tests, and projects. my other 4 classes are 2 tests (midterm & final) both worth half my grade. midterms were last week and thankfully i kicked butt in 3 of them but the 4th (business law) i got my butt kicked. unfortunately they put midterms over homecoming but the banquet cost money, the dance sucked so most of everybody moved the party to the luzader house and packed it out, powder puff football was sissy, and mr. panther i didn't see cause of work but woulda been hilarious. sat. was good though cause i went to the football game and watched my friend bryson make 2 touchdowns, justin make one, and the rest of my friends help kick macmurray's butt....we won 34-20 though shoulda been 34-6. i'm also tryin to work out gettin an internship at a hip hop record label for next summer. recently i've been helpin w/ the christian hip hop radio show sunday nights which has been fun.....sometimes i go on air but i'm not all that good cause i'm still adjusting...music is good though so check out the christian hip hop show feat. dj x, white chocolate, and d isom on sun 10pm to midnight. if u're not in the g-ville area just go to greenville.edu and click on the 89.5 link and listen. thanksgiving is in bout a month and i getta see my parents (miss u) and christmas i getta see my brother so i'm lookin forward to that though i'm enjoyin my time in gville and makin new friends and handing w/ old ones. well i think that's all for now everyone have fun and stay straight.
