  • Love Quotes

"To the world you might be one person, but to one person you might be the world."

This is going to be quite a long one but sometimes when I have problems and there's no one I can or want to talk to about them, I turn to quotes for advice or to cheer me up.  Here's a collection of some of my favorites

    These are on heartbreak:

    "Forget who hurt you yesterday,
But don't forget who loves you tenderly today."

"I dont miss him, I miss who I thought he was"

"If in this lifetime, I wont get to have you,
I'll make sure that if I meet you in my next life
I wont have to think twice on saying that "I waited a lifetime to say I love you..."

"Never be sad for what is over, just be glad that it was once yours."

"Moving on is simple, it's what you leave behind that makes it so difficult "

"You don't die from a broken heart - you only wish you did"

"The greatest pain that comes from love is loving someone you can never have."

"To fall in love is awfully simple, but to fall out of love is simply awful."

"It is not nearly so important how well a message is recieved as how well it is sent."

"For all sad words of tongue and pen, the saddest are these, 'It might have been."

"The hottest love has the coldest end "

"Guys are like stars. There are a million Out there, but ONLY One can make *your* Dreams come true."

"If you love someone, give them the option

to leave, but never give them a reason to"

"It is said that you don't know what you have until it's gone.

But, it is also true that you don't know what you have been missing until it arrives"

Here's my favorite Missing you Quotes:

"A goodbye isn't painful unless you're never going to say hello again. "

"There are moments in your life when you really miss someone that you want to pick them from your dreams and hug them for real. Hope you dream of that someone."

"I dropped a tear in the ocean.  The day you find it is the day I will stop missing you. "

    "Within you I lose myself...

    Without you I find myself

    Wanting to be lost again."

These are overall lost love quotes:

"sometimes your heart can take you places that can never lead to a happy ending"

"maybe turning my back would be that much easier, cause hurtful words are all the we exchange, but i cant watch you walk away"

"open your eyes;shes crazy about you"

    "you were my favorite mistake"

"i saw it in your eyes when you said hello. i knew you'd be the one to break me"

"i believed all of your lies when the only thing you could love about me was your reflection in my eyes"

"maybe it doesnt mean anything to you anymore. maybe it never did. but it meant alot to me..you meant alot to me"

"cracks in concrete are proof that, no matter how strong, everything breaks"

"Seduce my mind and you can have my body,
Find my soul and I'm yours forever. "

"Did my heart love till now?
    Forswear it sight,
For I ne'er saw true beauty till this night."

"Love is like swallowing hot chocolate
    Before it has cooled off.
It takes you by surprise at first,
But keeps you warm for a long time."

    "Once in awhile,
Right in the middle of an ordinary life,
Love gives us a fairy tale"

"Love doesn't make the world go round,
Love is what makes the ride worthwhile"

    Here's some on dreams:

"Last night I dreamed I ate a ten-pound marshmallow, and when I woke up the pillow was gone"

"Dreams come true. Without that possibility, nature would not incite us to have them. "

"Those who dream by day are cognizant of many things which escape those who dream only by night." Edgar Allan Poe

"The future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams." Eleanor Roosevelt

"Why does the eye see a thing more clearly in dreams than the imagination when awake?" Leonardo da Vinci

"We are such stuff as dreams are made on." William Shakespeare

"Envy is the natural emotion that makes you want to do it again; to try harder; to continue striving until you succeed."

    <span style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: Arial;">

"I think we dream so we don't have to be apart so long. If we're in each other's dreams, we can be together all the time"

"Why do we close our eyes when we
    dream
    kiss
    imagine
because the best things in life are left…
    .» unseen «."

    Other Random Quotes:

"A kiss is a lovely trick designed by nature to stop speech when words become superfluous."

"The heart has its reasons which reason knows nothing of."

"You can love anyone in the world.... but the problem is, they can too."

And finally to end on a special note surrounding past events:

"Relationships are like glass.  Sometimes it's better to leave them broken than try to hurt yourself putting it back together. "

  • My Poetry

I HAVE AN EMPTINESS INSIDE ME THAT CAN NEVER BE FULFILLED BY ANY RELATIONSHIP.  How then, am I suppose to fill this void?  Some say I should love myself.  But how?………………………………..

Why is it so hard to find someone that truly loves you?

How many people on this earth have truly found someone that loves their partner so much that they would give up the one thing that causes the relationship to sour?  It sounds simple, but why is that such a hard concept for some to put into action…

Something else, I’m am fed up with these young selfish men who get women pregnant, then decide that they don’t want to be with the mother and don’t want their child either.  Ughgh!!!!  Men suck!!!

Then afterwards, the least they could do is be there for them because of all of the emotional trauma they have to endure, but do they?  Maybe some do, but for the men I’m talking about, NO!!!  I don’t mean to be negative, but I hate that these things happen!

So many things sadden me, which brings out all my frustrations and tears.  That is what lead me to write this tonight.  I just hope that I can make peace with thoughts and anger some day, and the sooner the better, before it gets the best of me.

  • What a Gloomy Day

    The weather grows cold

    as does ur heart

    Now ur hearts cold

    cuz its ripped apart

    But does anyone really care?

u look to ur side but nobodys ever there

    Loyalty is hard to find

especially when u are so one of a kind

u can help everyone fix themselves

but u can't do a thing for yourself

lay in bed at night u don't want to sleep

cause of the nightmares u keep

Then in the morn, u won't wake

The thought of another day u can not take

So u just remain in bed

Counting all the frustrations in your head

The ones that turned your happy smile

    into depression and denial

used to be a smart kid with ambition in your eye

now u don't care if this the day you don't try

lord knows you've had your share of hard times

u got no answers so u look to the rhymes

but u cant give up, cause somewhere inside

part of that bright eyed lil girl hasn't died

But u cant bring her out

cause she's scared of all the heartbreak running about

    so u stay depressed

dont care about how ur dressed

walkin out the door u got your head laid low

with the feeling in your heart, you have no where to go.

  • Love Hurts

As we grow up, we learn that even the one person that wasn't supposed to ever let you down probably will. You will have your heart broken probably more than once and it's harder every time. You'll break hearts too, so remember how it felt when yours was broken. You'll fight with your best friend. You'll blame a new love for things an old one did. You'll cry because time is passing too fast, and you'll eventually lose someone you love. So take too many pictures, laugh too much, and love like you've never been hurt because every sixty seconds you spend upset is a minute of happiness you'll never get back.

  • Today I Saved a Life!

Okay, so I don't have some heroic story about saving someone from a burning building (and, no, I didn't donate blood either); in fact, it wasn't even a human I saved, it was one of my cats newborn kittens.  So, if you are already disinterested in my story, you have fair warning to not read any further.  But if you do want to hear about my rescue, this is how it goes...

My cat had her kittens a few days ago in our spare bedroom that we use for storage.  She ended up having her kittens in a box way behind all the other boxes that was hard to get to.  I heard the babies meowing constantly ever since she had them, and I just thought it was because she was elsewhere for a little while eating or something.  Last night, I only heard two babies crying constantly, then today, only one.  So, I finally decided to move all those boxes out of the way and try to take a look at her babies.  When I finally got over there, I looked in the box she had her babies in, and didn't see anything.  The mom cat was standing right next to me, trying to get me to pet her and not even one bit concerned with the fact that her baby was whining and was getting close to it.  So, I started to freak out (go ahead and make fun of me if you want) and I started saying impatiently, "Where are your babies!?"  So, I moved the box that they were born in, and underneath the box, I found three dead babies!   It was so sad, but then I hear another one meowing, but it's no where near the dead babies.  I look over at the box that I had just moved, and I see the last living kitten hanging by it's throat , stuck in a plastic bang that was hanging out of a hole that  was in the bottom of the box!  I started freaking out even more when I tried to get his head out of the hole and I felt how cold his body was.  That baby should have already been dead because of his temperature and lack of nourishment from his mother, but for some reason he wasn't.  He moved very slowly, as you might imagine, which made me even more angry  at the mother.  I started yelling at my cat like I was a social worker yelling at an abusive parent.  "This is YOUR BABY, why aren't you taking care of him!!!", is what I began yelling.  I immediately grabbed the mother and tried to get the baby to eat, while holding him to warm him up.  The mother would not sit still, and the baby would not eat.  So, after losing my patience with the mother, I went to my other cat who just had babies too and tried to get the baby to eat from her. The baby still wouldn't eat for the next hour because of it's lack of strength (it didn't even meow anymore), but at least that mom was willing to lay there with the him. Even though the baby wouldn't eat, the good news is that two hours later, the babies body temperature was back to normal and it was meowing again when I picked it up!
So the moral of my story is, my cat is seriously a BAD MOTHER!!!
Just kidding, if anything, I learned that if you are ever in a crisis situation like me, the important thing with a cold body is to get it warm ASAP.  I thought the baby needed nourishment, but I guess all it really needed was a warm and loving embrace!
