Yesterday was a really bad day. It made me want to leave my job more than ever. If nothing else, I guess it's the catalyst I need to get my butt in gear and figure out what I want to do.

I rebonded my hair over the weekend.. actually I did it last Friday, and it was on the way to work that I got car sick and it started my whole sick over the weekend thing. But sickness is not fun, so lets go back to my hair...

I had an afro on Monday. Ok, that is an exaggeration. But my hair was frizzy. I had to go buy a bottle of moisturizing stuff from the store downstairs from where I work just so that I can keep it under some semblance of control. My hair was absorbing the stuff. It was scary how much of the lotion I was lathering on, and yet my hair was still dry. It's much better now though.

Ok so update about me done. I was thinking about someone today. I haven't talked to him in a while. When I log onto msn he is already asleep I guess. Thats good. That means he is getting enough rest.

I hope I get accepted into NYP. I really wanna do that course. Keeping my fingers crossed x^^x

I'm mightily offended when my parents nag at me.. I don't know why.. I really shouldn't.. I mean.. My parents ARE my parents.. After everything they've gone through raising a trouble-maker like me.. They should have some nagging rights, right?

C came to talk to me today.. She wanted to see how I was doing etc. I tried to explain to her that I was tired and stressed out but somehow I don't think she understands the words that are coming out of my mouth. Its like.. She hears the words but she doesn't understand.

I tried to explain to her that I was behind in the class work. She was surprised cause she said I have less classes. I told her that I didn't and that I was only one regular class short envoy old schedule. But cause I keep having to cover classes, the work keeps piling up cause I never actually have free time to clear it. Then she was all, "what about the tips that GC and JCG are giving. They are suppose to helped T with the work load."

I just wanted to roll my eyes. This is why I say she doesn't understand what I'm trying to convey. I guess I have to cut her some slack.. She's never done what I'm doing.

I tried to explain why it's so difficult to keep up. I tried to explain that when classes are out, people are actually tired and that asking me to be able to work robotically after classes was unrealistic. I tried to explain that having half an hour to mark anything is unrealistic. I mean.. I can probably mark one composition. I'm not going to obsess about marking the way I use to..

shit.. Getting car sick again.. Continue later..

More beautiful stuff

I keep getting handed lovely bits of writing today. An 11 yr old showed me these today. I tried to find the author of this poem, but thus far I have been unsuccessful. Maybe I'm entering the wrong key words in my search.

I Left My Book In Hawaii

I left my book in Hawaii,
On the beach in the sand somewhere,
I was suppose to practice my spelling,
But I just couldn't concentrate there.

The oceans whispered, "Come surfing."
The beaches beckoned, "Come play."
I followed the sound of their voices,
And I threw my spelling away.

For a week I rode the free winds,
As I surfed a wide blue sea;
And the sound of the ocean breathing
Became a part of me.

I'm sorry, Ms. Jones, I forgot it,
On a beach in the sand somewhere,
How I wish that book was remembered,
And I'd been forgotten there.

You don't think she actually wrote it do you??? o.o
Heck... what if she did???

This one I know she read somewhere, but she told me that she loved this opening. Again, I was impressed that such an introduction would have been noticed by someone like her.

River Song, by Belinda Hollyer:
I have discovered that you can go along for ages without seeing things as they really are. And then one day their true colors light up as clear as the sun in the morning. They come in so close you can't ignore them: they tap you on the shoulder or grab you by the arm, and won't let go until you listen to what they have to say.

Sounds like the intro to something really deep =x

The Composition

I was privileged to read this introduction from a composition. It was beautifully written:

Sunlight filtered as the fluffy white clouds waltzed through the vast blue sky. Suburban bungalows lined the street, exuding a sense of perfection. I heard honks and the screeching of tyres creating a symphonic melody of urban life. Workers were constructing a building which almost burst my ears.

There are errors, but I thought the language was impressive for the age of the kid who wrote it. Guess how old the kid was.

Once you have guessed, check the comments for the answers.

How come I can't do that? =(

Brand new Xanga users are encouraged to complete a bunch of tasks that help them navigate through the wonderful world of Xanga. This will show them most of the lovely functions that Xanga has to offer, and start them on learning to explore other prominent Xangan's sites. And they get credits for doing that!! I just talked to one of my girls whom I've finally converted into joining Xanga, and she already has more credits than me! I wish old time Xangans could get tasks like that. Haha..

Anyhoots. I'm at work. I wanna share about my week old Samsung Omnia (I still love my K3m) and rave about "Stardust". But first, I need to so some work.

Much loves.

Talk to Me xD
Made some minor adjustments to the way the music plays on my blog. Since I put tons of lyrics, I decided to post the music with the lyrics.

Someone I met is embarking on what I think is an admirable quest. Especially since he's doing this when he's still going to JC.
Here's his blog. Good luck GL!! =D

I recently added 3 more pics to my header, making it a total of 5.

whom I think is a brilliant artist =D

I also added 3 of Jeff Thomas // Azuzephre's Pon and Zi.
Recently, as you can tell, I've been going through a Pon and Zi phase XD
