I also like watching Duke basketball, and I enjoy watching other sports in person, but not so much on tv. I think I'm an ok writer, and I would love to have a book published at some time in my life

Ok, ok, so it's been a while.  Here's what's up:

-Work is going well, for the most part.  I have essentially determined that my work hours are from12-8 most days.  It's frustrating sometimes to have something to do pretty much every evening, but I don't feel bad for not getting up and working hard in the morning.

-I found a new church in Angier.  It's pretty cool.  It's just getting started, so it is weird to be a part of a church that doesn't really have set traditions yet, but it's cool to be a part of the process of developing those traditions.  Also, most of the people there have a Masters of Divinity, so I am one of the ones with the least formal religious education.  It's a little intimidating, but I am sure ratio that will change as the church grows in time.

-We are going back to New York this weekend...I'm excited.

-I bought a camera I can't afford.  But it's a nice camera.

That's all for now.

New York...Heck Yes

Wow...

New York was AMAZING.  We drove up Friday, leaving at 4 in the afternoon and arriving at the hotel at about 2:12 AM. Along the way we took a few extra turns, (and U-Turns, for that matter) but we made it without too much difficulty.

Saturday we took a bus into the city and we ate lunch, and went to see Spring Awakening.  When we showed up we heard that John Gallagher, Jr, one of the lead actors, was not going to be in the show.  We were really upset, but the understudy did an awesome job, and the show was fantastic.  Afterwards, we stood outside the stage door, and most of the cast came out and talked with us and signed autographs.  They were really cool.  It was pretty amazing.

Then, we had dinner, and we saw RENT, with two of the original cast members back after having been gone for almost 10 years.  Anthony Rapp and Adam Pascal reprised their original roles, and it was surreal.  So incredible.

Then, we came home. When do we go back?

So, it's time to update, I suppose.

-I have been working for a week and a half now.  It's really good, I have an amazing boss.  I'm excited about this job.

-I saw Urinetown the Musical on Friday at the Raleigh Little Theatre.  It was really funny.  It got me very excited about New York next weekend.  It's going to be amazing.

-Kandi found this online.  I can't tell if I'm offended or amused.

Changes...again

Hi,

Camp's over.  Life has changed.  Here's what's going on:

I have a job. Starting Wednesday, I will work full time for the Occoneechee Council of the Boy Scouts of America.  This means A) I won't be going to Div School.  B) I won't be working as a youth minister at Westfield C) I won't be working for Admissions.

I won't be moving, because I will work in the Harnett County area.

I could go into lots of the long details, but suffice it to say that I truly feel like this is where I am meant to be, and who I am meant to be, at least at this point in my life.

Thanks,
Chris

Before we get to a WHOLE month without updating

So, a lot's been going on.  Here's a rundown:
-I moved out of the apartment and into the most amazing house ever.  (So, the house is ok, but the company is top notch.)
-I then realized I don't have enough money to live in an unfurnished house.
-I graduated yesterday.  This would be much more exciting if I weren't coming right back here for grad school.
-I'm re-reading Harry Potter 5 before the movie comes out, and 6 (hopefully) before the next book comes out.  Yes, I did pre-order the last book.
-I have a second job when I get back to school...I'll be working as a grad assistant with Admissions (Come to Campbell!).

I think that may be it.  Today I head out to camp, but I'll be back and forth to Campbell until June 10th.  Then I'm at Camp for good until July 25th.

Have fun everybody!
