  • Comment on Ed Hussain's interview

Hussein has not really said anything new about the Islam or Islamist scene in the UK.  He's saying that he fell into this extreme group, and he explains how intelligent people also fall into this cult of sorts. His book is warning of how youth fall into this trap.

From my point of view, I don't see the problem here. The guy has written his own story from his own perspective. I assume he knows his own life experiences, motivations and thought processes much better than anyone else and maybe his wrong in some points but this is his knowledge.

So some of you don't like what he said but he is just trying to make some money with his book.

  • Vt. towns approve Buch-Cheney "indietment".

It is a good day in America when people use the system instead than sit back and complain. If they feel this is a big enough issue than thank God that America has a process to act on. A lot of commenter sick from Bush and Cheney's management. But all are trying without the courage to stand for there conviction. In fact, arresting these tow people will not happen its just wasting of time.

  • Dear Gihren,

We read the first 6 paragraphs in your essay, and according to that our opinions are:

1- You said in the third paragraph that our clerics encourage men to beat their wives; this point is not true at all. The clerics never say something like that.

2- Your source in this point was (Fox) and this not right source to choose to know this kind of information.

3- About women's sport in Saudi Arabia, the point you mentioned is completely wrong because we always play but not in public places because there wasn't an official matches.

This is the important points that we think you should correct them, and thank you for sharing it with us J

  • My Saudi Valentine

This article humiliate our society in fact, what was written is true but as a Muslim person I have never wished that one day Saudi Arabia would be an open country just like the states. That is because if we dismissed the religious part we can see the majority of our society are satisfied with their way of living. But as an open-minded person I believe that the big issue is that there are different levels of mentalities in our society which caused conflicts between people. for example: I consider the writer of this pervious article an extremely open-minded person who even wants to neglect our holly religion's rules and that will never happen And, all that she has done was a big mess. Although our fair religion had forbidden us from integration it also had given us the right to love as what profit Mohammed said "lovers can do nothing but get married''.
