To the MySpace Reader

Hello again.   While Myspace is clearly a one-on-one social thing, which is fine by me as I enjoy meeting new people, I hope you will take an interest to help spread the word of what I am trying to do here.

Please consider using your Myspace “post bulletin” to copy-and-paste this message to your friends, and otherwise to individuals and groups for civic, educational, public policy and social service interest.   Just plain call their attention to http://www.xanga.com/NormPierce777    so they take it from there.     This is about making a difference – and your help is appreciated.

I am in early retirement building on a longstanding interest in volunteer email activity with  groups or individuals for editorial, marketing, mentoring, public policy or program development.

Am glad to do the same with you, by the way – what do you want to change …

Am making a difference, and invite you to do the same.  At the least, I hope to stir up good conversation of local and national interest.   Discussion welcome.   Regards, norm.  NormPierce777@aol.com     = = = = =

PS - Help Wanted for website development

PPS    as I may have said to you earlier -

Send me something serious, send me something light -

Send me what the world ain't heard,

That helps to put things right.

A note to the Xanga reader -     This entry coordinates to the email i send to contract firms with whom i have ongoing contact.If you are an IT recruiter, account rep, or contractor here by that means, then Hello again and read on because this is the only IT entry at this site.If you are an educator, parent, student or have other social service interest and have come here by that means, then Hello all the more and fine by me if you page down to the non-IT stuff that is the majority both of this site and my personal interest. My efforts in either case are to act as agent using my analytical, communicative and creative skill to help others achieve their goals.If that sounds too serious, see Chocolate and Purple and Partners in Rhyme and lighten up.Serious work is supposed to be fun - pass it on.Regards, norm.= = = = =

Available to Develop or Deliver JAD - PAR

Joint Application Development - Peer Artifact Review

Hello again.A moment ago I updated you of my availability.Again, I appreciate your interest.

My present client (as of Nov 2005), as have most clients in my 30 year career both as employee and contractor, uses me primarily for direct BA and QA service.They also welcome my educational, facilitating and influential skills for cultural change (CMM and otherwise), informal leadership and skills transfer.

While now (Nov '05) full time onsite, I want to call your attention to ongoing mutual opportunity for me to serve as a very short term and occasional resource to your project leaders for your exclusively staffed projects, or to your account reps for review or tutorial support to your onsite contractors.Or, perhaps best, privately to you or your contractors for individual benefit.

On contract I do this as opportunity permits.Between contracts I do this full time. Either way, it is an extension of having hired and supervised consultants on contract, facilitating their demonstration of ongoing high value to their customer management and peer group.

Below will be of interest not as much to you as a recruiter, but more to your account reps and/or business managers ; and to your associates as a personal and direct resource.

It will strengthen the client's perception of you and your firm's presence and performance to have me available as a low cost and private resource on an as-needed basis.

My strongest ability is to refine technical detail into meaningful implications and  options.

I add value to most artifacts I review.Others get the benefit and the credit, and that's ok.

Please forward accordingly.

--- chocolate and purple and partners in rhyme ---

Norm,

By the way, did you know there are no words

that rhyme with chocolate, purple and response?

Ensconce comes close to response,

but try to get those two into a poem. It's tough.

                                             Lorraine

Hi, Lorraine !  now ya made me think about it  ...

I'm told naught rhymes with chocolate   and purple is but worse.

But so inclined to talkalot    do thus aspire to verse.

And whilst our thoughts be ere upon   the ear's match to "response" ;

to find the word, good sound inferred,   as Cat 'pon lap ensconce.

Our nation's anthem, lofty prose   doth speak of mountains purple'd ;

their tops' thin air,  so crown-ed bare,   as if they had their fur pull'd.

'Tis true this creaky melody     may close as rusty door-hinge ;

though doubtably witty it is but a pity    I wasn't asked of orange.

Glad ya asked !

Enjoy

                  Regards,

Two liberals walk into a bar …

The drinks may not flow, but the talk does.

We just gotta get a liberal in as President next year.

Right, then we can make all the changes we need to make.

Good plan - then what about the election after that ?

Why, of course, Win so we keep things the way they oughtta be.

Right.  Oops, What if someone wants to change what we did ?

Nonsense, we have to conserve what we worked so hard to build.

Aha.  Right, as ever.

      Hey, that reminds me - heard a good one yesterday -

      Two conservatives walk into a bar …
