  • Boston

    Sorry it's been so long since I've updated!  Wow and entire month and then some!  So much has happened.  We stayed with the Ham Fam the first week in June and enjoyed playing games and eating really good food.  Then the 2nd week we headed down south to Tennessee for the annual Reno/Kelley vacation to Gatlinburg! What fun that was, during that week, Abby learned how to swim all by herself, even without water wings!  and Caleb, living up to his name (meaning: bold)  jumped into the pool!  After that we headed up to Boston, via Virginia, where we stayed with My cousin, Desiree, and then departed to Boston!  What a drive!  When we arrived we still didn't feel like it was home, it is so BIG!

    We are so thankful that GOD has kept us, and continues to bless us with his mercies!  More later.....

  • So many Goodbye's....

    This time last week we were packing a POD to move from Hillsdale to Boston.  I like this week better;)  We are vacationing at Mom and Colonel Hamilton's home this week.  We have enjoyed Dicecapades, Baby Reagan, Rachel and Rebecca's laughter and the good home cookin of Mom Ham.  Mike and I have spent some time with Joey and Jenny on Monday night, Jenny made us dinner and we hot tubbed it later in the evening.  It was so refreshing and good to be with such great friends. 

    Monday and Tuesday brought lunch with one of my favorite people, my sister.  We enjoyed Chick-Fil-A and Chipotle.  Yummy.  I was thrilled to help her pack up her classroom.  Another school year down!!  On to Gatlinburg Vacation. 

    Tonight we are awaiting house church and fellowship with some fellow Apexer's!  Thursday we are celebrating Father's Day with Col. Dad as we won't be in town for the official day!

  • God is so good....

    We have so much to be thankful for!  Mike and I set out on a week long endevour to find a dwelling to live in!  and GOD has been so faithful to provide abundantly above everything we could have asked or imagined!  We are going to be living in a beautiful Townhouse, at a lovely apartment complex and the people seem great!  Pictures will follow in a couple days!  we have been away from home for 4 days and in those days we have seen, Uncle Tom's Cabin (yes, he was a real man with a real cabin), Niagra Falls (thanks Mike for the great surprise), Boston Proper, Paul Revere's House, the Old North Church, the North End of Boston (which is the Italian End), and have learned to navigate the streets of Boston fairly well, and managed not to get into an accident!

    Stops to go:  Grandma and Grandpa Hamilton, Aunt Janet, Uncle Al's new bathroom.  Then to OHIO for Reagan's dedication, and Grandma King's 85th birthday.
