HONEYMOONIN'!
note: will be updated with pics asap.

Thursday

woke up at 8am to go fishing on a boat, where tina caught two small red snappers (too small to keep) and rob caught... nothing. got rained on like WHOA... once you get that wet, you can't get any wetter, and there's no point in trying to stay dry

picked up the free roll of film from parasailing that rob left at the Snook Inn (snook inn, snook inn, where the best of times begin... grab a drink at the chickee bar...)

lunch at McDonald's... it only took 4 days to finally eat it

went back to the coach outlet and returned some of the impulse buys (it really doesn't save you THAT much money, boys and girls)

bought a crystal ring holder from the mikasa outlet as our "honeymoon present" (hey, rob needs a place for his ring too, and plus it cost less than $7.)

went to an internet cafe called Roberto's (where we are right now) to have some coffee and xanga about our honeymoon

to be continued...

Wednesday

woke up REALLY late, finally! and ate some honey bunches of oats (that's why they call it the best of the bunch)

rob called around and set up some activities for the week

went PARASAILING on the beach -- amazing experience!! went up together at the same time and stayed up for more than 18 minutes. the company took a free roll of film for us as a wedding present

on the recommendation of the parasailing guy (who was originally from long island) ate lunch at Snook's Inn, right on the water

went back to the condo and took a dip in the pool, laid out again and both got a little burned

rob went out to get some aloe vera and then both took a nap

trekked out to the coach outlet where too much was bought

WAFFLE HOUSE for dinner, believe it or not... yum

stopped by walgreen's to pick up a corona tank top for tina.. don't ask

went back to the condo and watched the yankees lose (yesyes i know, the sox are down 0-2)

went to sleep

Tuesday

rob woke up mad early, probably in a cold sweat that he was late for work, and proceeded to eat cereal and all sorts of stuff

rob went back to sleep (tina slept right on through till the 2nd time he woke up) and then both woke up to eat some great jimmy dean breakfast sandwiches... no squirrel chasing required

packed a lunch of pb&j, orange soda, and wedding cake and headed down to the Marco Island residents' private beach

went hunting for shells on the beach (millions of them!!) and got rained on like crazy, ran to find shelter under a chickee (like a big straw umbrella)

on the beach we witnessed seagulls and sandpipers almost walk up to us and squawk at each other as if they were fighting, and large brown pelicans dive headfirst into the water to catch fish (they sometimes go blind as they get older from the constant impact with the water)

went back to the condo and went swimming in the pool

sat out on the dock to eat our lunch and try to tan

went back to get ready and had dinner at Fortunes, a steak and seafood place. rob had fried scallops while tina had prime rib, and then they shared the best key lime pie EVER while rob indulged in some glenmorangie

trekked out to k-mart for more supplies

went back to the condo to watch tv (we really missed food network... 30 min meals, $40 a day, iron chef, awesome) and snacked on some supplies from walgreen's

went to sleep

Monday

struggled to find a cab and finally ended up with the fastest, most excellent cab driver that got us from Allston to Logan Airport in 10 minutes WITH traffic

arrived at the airport to find out that our flight was actually 30 mins after we originally thought

ate breakfast at fuddruckers (excellent) and boarded our Song airplane

had a great flight on the cutest airline and played trivia games with our fellow passengers (almost won one round but Newman ended up winning... hello, newman...) and the flight crew announced to the whole plane that we had just gotten married

arrived at Fort Meyers airport and checked in with Enterprise Rent-a-Car, where they upgraded us to an Altima at a discounted rate!! THANKS AUSTIN!!! (plus the car is a CHAMPANGE color, to match our wedding colors... whoda thought.)

began on our 40 min drive to Marco Island, during which we spotted tons of palm trees, signs for panther crossings (yikes), and 70 miles per hour speed limit

arrived at Marco Island at the Smokehouse Bay Club and entered the super cute condo we're staying at, courtesy of my mom's friend (2 bedroom 2 bath! pool and dock outside! cable TV!)

after driving around and failing to find any restaurants open at the hour of 3:30pm, ended up at Porky's Last Stand (yum)

took a nap and then went out for supplies for the week... Winn Dixie has great 2 for 1 deals, including SMUCKERS STRAWBERRY JAM (rob's favorite) and BREYERS ICE CREAM (yum for all)

went to sleep

Andy's nervous about moving. it was cute. Jumbalaya was trying to explain to him that the place we're moving to is going to have air conditioning too. Andy was still nervous about it and decided to spend some time in our freezer to think it over.

Meanwhile, Sub and Floffy are playing Home Run Derby with the candle we threw in the trash yesterday... But it's not how you imagine it. Sub is self pitching that round fluffy packing sponge that came with the unity candle stuff, and Floffy is on the sidelines next to our pictures, pretending that hes in the stands. He has the big #1 foam finger on, and is pretending to be at a Sox game. Sub, of course, thinks he's Big Papi.
