Adventures in laundry pt. II : I haven't done laundry in weeks...well really the last tiime that I posted was the last time I did laundry. That's scary. I figured since Megan was coming and since we are getting ready to go on a trip to chcago it might be a good idea to make sure that I have clean clothes. Basically these next two days will involve a lot of cleaning in general in anticipation of Megan's arrival on Thursday. It's gonna be great. If all goes to plan that is. The plan being to actually quit working at my current RadioShack and start working at another RadioShack on 8/1 that way I wont have to work at all while Megan is is here or during Strathman's bachelor party and wedding/reception. I'll still be working for the hell hole that is RadioShack but I'd be working for a much cooler much more leniant boss. Basically everything that's bad about my job now is due entirely to my boss. So I figure changing bosses (as well as getting more time off) is the biggest concern. So that's what I'm working on. So that's really about it. Nothing too special. I'm basically just trying to coast through these next 1 1/2 days until Megan is here. Summer is almost over and it's fantastic. I can't wait. That's all for now folks. Ok Peace Out.

So here I am. Chillin'. Doin some much needed laundry here at the corner laundromat. This shit is expensive is all I've got to tell you. Any future residence of mine will have to have it's own laundry facilities because this is just ridiculous. So yeah I'm really just kind of bored right now. I went out drinking last night with a friend from work and that was nice, but really, every day when I wake up I just want it to be next Saturday. "Why?" you might ask. Well that's becasue I get to see Megan next saturday. That's really all I'm looking forward to at this point. Well that and also getting f**ked up at Ben's 21st birthay celebration. That should be fun. So yeah other than that I'm usually pretty bored. So in the event that people still read this (thanks Jen) you need to get a hold of me and we'll do something, and it'll be fun. I promise. So yeah I guess I"m done for now. Ok Peace Out.

So...yeah. I really doubt anybody will read this anymore seeing as how I haven't updated in over 5 months. But in one day I had two people tell me that I need to post to my Xanga again. So I guess I can. But I think I need to change it up now. Do some stuff different this time. As it was all this was good for was for me to come and vent and bitch about whatever the hell was pissing me off that I wanted people to feel sorry for me about. I'm done with that which is in a way why I quit writing in the first place. But I guess I can pick it up again. I don't know what kind of regularity it'll have but I'll do what I can. So until then. OK Peace Out.

So here I am. Long time since last update. Lot's to talk about I suppose. Getting ready to head back to Lawrence. Seems like I haven't spent any time at home at all. These fragments are bothering me. Got to go spend the best week of my life out in the Black Hills of South Dakota having fun snowboarding and such with Megan, Ty, Enoch, and Owen. I can't really even imagine a better way to have spent my time. Fun was had by all that's for sure. After being tired and sore as hell from two days of intense snowboarding/skiing we went and saw Mt. Rushmore. Because after all what trip to SD is complete without seeing the only thing worth seeing in the state. It was kind of foggy when we got there but you could still see it. However maybe 8 minutes after we'd been there the entire thing was covered in a thick layer of fog. You couldn't see a damn thing. Either way it was fun. It was my 3rd time to see it and it was just as enjoyable as the first. Aside from Owen's "That's It? I thought it would be bigger" comment. Overall it was a fantastic trip. The best part probably being that Megan was with me which was great. Having the guys there too was a blast don't get me wrong, but having her there just made everything that much sweeter. I'm sure there's more to say about the trip but that's all I'm going to say for now. As for the whole Christmas part of the vacation that was pretty good. The whole telling Mom what I want and then her getting it for me worked out pretty well. I got my snowboard waxed and tuned and she got me some new bindings as a bonus. Then she hooked me up with the Nirvanva boxed set which was quite awesome. The we went out and she bought me some new running shoes. I got some other good gifts as well so all in all It's been a more than enjoyable break. Oh yeah I almost forgot to mention High-Rollers "fif". Our New Years Eve bash. Entertaining evening to say the least. My drink of choice (Absente) was not quite what I had hoped it would be so I drank some other people's stuff and it was all good. Props are due to my former roommate Dave for being crowned the event's "Highest Roller". He was done and done. I never thought I'd see a grown man hump a rolled up area rug off of a weight bench but Dave has never been one to shy away from a challenge. So I think I've covered my whole break now. So I guess that's about it. Ok Peace Out.

So it's been forever since I've updated. There's been a lot of a lot going on. First and foremost would have to be the very sad truth that on the 5th of December at 4:05 pm my father died at the very young age of 48. If you know me then you probably know that my Dad had been battling with lymphoma for the last 4 years. He was doing really well actually however it had made his immune system so weak that it was unable to fight the infection which eventually ended his life. I got the call from my mom Sunday morning that I needed to go get my sister and get home as soon as possible. Luckily I was able to see my father for one last time before having to sit and watch him die. While I was happy to have been able to be there I must say that I don't think anyone should ever have to sit there and watch the life being slowly sucked out of one of their parents. I felt powerless just sitting there watching him. However it was nothing compared to what my 14 year old brother had been through. Michael had been there for the entire ordeal and I can only imagine what he went through and how painful it was. Everyone is doing well now though. Sure it hurts but we're getting through it well. We were surrounded by family and friends the whole time. That's all I really want to say about that.

On a much happier note despite current events I've been having one of the greatest weeks of my life due entirely to Megan. I hesitate to call her my girlfriend because I don't like to make asumptions of that kind but I think that it's pretty much the case at this point. It's good that's all I can say. I think I'm done here. Ok Peace Out.
