So here I am. Long time since last update. Lot's to talk about I suppose. Getting ready to head back to Lawrence. Seems like I haven't spent any time at home at all. These fragments are bothering me. Got to go spend the best week of my life out in the Black Hills of South Dakota having fun snowboarding and such with Megan, Ty, Enoch, and Owen. I can't really even imagine a better way to have spent my time. Fun was had by all that's for sure. After being tired and sore as hell from two days of intense snowboarding/skiing we went and saw Mt. Rushmore. Because after all what trip to SD is complete without seeing the only thing worth seeing in the state. It was kind of foggy when we got there but you could still see it. However maybe 8 minutes after we'd been there the entire thing was covered in a thick layer of fog. You couldn't see a damn thing. Either way it was fun. It was my 3rd time to see it and it was just as enjoyable as the first. Aside from Owen's "That's It? I thought it would be bigger" comment. Overall it was a fantastic trip. The best part probably being that Megan was with me which was great. Having the guys there too was a blast don't get me wrong, but having her there just made everything that much sweeter. I'm sure there's more to say about the trip but that's all I'm going to say for now. As for the whole Christmas part of the vacation that was pretty good. The whole telling Mom what I want and then her getting it for me worked out pretty well. I got my snowboard waxed and tuned and she got me some new bindings as a bonus. Then she hooked me up with the Nirvanva boxed set which was quite awesome. The we went out and she bought me some new running shoes. I got some other good gifts as well so all in all It's been a more than enjoyable break. Oh yeah I almost forgot to mention High-Rollers "fif". Our New Years Eve bash. Entertaining evening to say the least. My drink of choice (Absente) was not quite what I had hoped it would be so I drank some other people's stuff and it was all good. Props are due to my former roommate Dave for being crowned the event's "Highest Roller". He was done and done. I never thought I'd see a grown man hump a rolled up area rug off of a weight bench but Dave has never been one to shy away from a challenge. So I think I've covered my whole break now. So I guess that's about it. Ok Peace Out.
