| so last night i went to see the russian national ballet's sleeping beauty. it was really good! i mean i expected it to be. but then there were some parts where it seemed like our girls did better. i thought anna was much better as white cat than this other girl ( and i'm not just saying that because she reads this) and i thought that most of our dancers could at least hold thier own in the corps. the only truely amazing people were the canary fairy, lilac fairy,bluebird and princess florine, the prince, and aurora. aurora was incredible. she had amaing extension and feet as well as an over-split in her leaps. not all of them had good feet eaither. i was surprised. i think the bluebird was possibly the best male dancer, even better than the prince. i also saw miss anettes kids there. we did paploo with them and they are super nice. i saw lisa and a few of the little boys, including the really cute little blonde kid, and supposedly more of them were there. i dunno if anyone else went. i think sarah wallace may have been there but i didn't see her. it was worth it.
tomorrow is career day so we get to come into school at noon and just listen to people speak. it will be fun. well gotta go! | | |
| so it is spring break at the studio and since i already went on spring break, i am still in school. it totally sux! everyone is off having fun bu me. oh well.i'll get over it. we did speeling beauty last week. it was pretty good. kim did fabulous as aurora. i will miss her so much when she graduates. if anyone wants to see pictures of the saturday performance go to keikoguestphotography.com and bypass the site and go to the ordering program. then type in adt sleeping beauty and they will pop up. there are some great pictures.
yesterday was really awesome. i was sitting at home after dance and the doorbell rang. it was three of my friends coming to see if i wanted to go to the coffehouse that night. i felt so loved. we went and joined up with another friend and we had dinner and dessert and lots of fun.
well, i'm off to do better things. i'm going to see movin out tonight! much love! | | |
| so bored. can't focus. i have tons of stuff to do, but i have no way of doing it. so i am off the lunch early. adjudication went well, since kim got sick and couldn't come : (. but hey! that is okay. we got through it. gia and katie really stepped up and were totally awesome understudies. i am going on a diet until serba to get my butt to shrink and i am freaking about all the crap i need to do. oh well. luv ! | | |
