Interests: I love to write, and am a published author. I also have written a children's play that has been produced around the world. And now, i have taken up poetry. I am a painter. I paint with oil paints, mostly scenery. I search for beautiful settings in nature in order to find my inspiration. I don't mean to sound arrogant, but i have come to realize that it is one of my talents. although, it seems i am never completely satisfied. typical artist ; ) photography. it's definantly a hobby of mine. philosophy is something i enjoy. i love to hear other's thoughts, and debate. i often ask some profound thoughts, nd it seems i never get a direct answer. So, i continue to ask. POLITICS is most definantly my love. I come from a very republican family and find that in school debates i know much more then the average teenager. i enjoy debating and discussing economical issues. And i have thought about going into politics when i retire.

Pollution

if only a rose would not smell as sweet

or water stay crisp and pure

if the wind shall burn and break the skin

would it then distract the soft allure

if Eden's sunrise were to shine so dull

the emerald hills reflect the pale sun's death

if the sky did not prove the vibrance of blue

would it then force one to grasp thy breath

through the eyes of mine that weep I see

the beauty of the divine

I admonish those whom are ignorant

this land is neither yours nor mine

Wow.  It has been ages since I last posted a blog here on xanga.

I just reminded myself yesterday that I syill have one.

I fell my neglect should end and I should somewhat update my readers (if there is anybody left) on how i have been doing.

First of all, I found poetry to not be my calling, but a part of it.  I'm a musician now, not that I can recall a time that I wasn't, but i am more focused now with my guitar.  Actually I am just finishing an album that will be sold in a plublicity thing for musicians (some music festible I'm not sure the company I'm working with basically tells me what to do)  And I continued oil paints starting a blue theme.  Mainly because blue, black and white are the only colors i have in large quantities.

ALTHOUGH my poetry has stopped I'm still heavy on lyrics, which is really just poetry repeated into a beat.  So here is averse from one of my favorite songs I created.

(i've never been a huge fan of rhyme, especially rhyme without a correct pattern, but this song is an example of me going against everything I said I preferred and actually liking it.)

Tonight when the darkness comes
Why don't we treat it like a friend
Then we'll both be glad to see the night
And a heart's slumber will help it mend

So fall into sleep
Peaceful and deep

such a softer sin

a brilliance within

so light the feeling flows

just as the sea's wind blows

such passion is air

and to this love is not to spare

bringing perfection upon humanity

love strong, so light is vanity

A cozy hideout hidden by the emerald leaves of a quiet forest

Stood tall in the shade of a magnolia tree.

There, hopes and dreams were stored,

There, security was whole.

Laughter painted the walls

And meadowlarks sang,

Childhood innocence filled the air.

The painful thoughts were left at the door.

Friendships were formed and nurtured,

And the tiny dwelling watched it all,

Waiting patiently for my return.

Now when fustrations overwhelm,

Memories take me back

To that enchanted childhood playhouse,

Where faded hopes and dreams once again become

As bright and shimmering as summer's sun,

And against the backdrop of today's reality

I am transformed.

That idles in the wanton summer air,
And yet not fall; so light is vanity.

this is ym favorite quote from romeo and juliet (well at least in scene 3) and if you can translate the symbolism then i would like to have a conversation with you because you seem worth the time.  i had fun translating this, i looked deeply into it and i find it wonderful how a simgle grouping of words can bring me such thoughts and joy.  this is poetry, this is what poetry should always be like.

to love foolishly is an illusion of love, my dear.
