CrittersFound another tree frog in the house. This one in the laundry room. Tempted to leave it there since flies are making their way in and hanging out near the cat food. Caught the frog and sealed the whole (where a dryer used to vent. Not completely sealed it turns out). Put the frog in the bowl we had the other one in. Will let the kids feed it until tomorrow and then set it out where we released our other little visitor. Little Girl earlier told me there were some bugs in the Betas' bowl. Great. Flies, ants, now what. She says the male beta is eating them. Oh hell! I know what they are! I go to the bowl and, sure enough, we have fish fry! I scoop out mom and dad and stick them in the big tank with the non aggressive fish and look at the babies. They are tiny, tiny things! We must have 40 to 50. Looked on the internet on what to feed them. Stuff that swims in pond water, it says. We walk to the park and get a big jar full of pond water. This will be very neat if we can actually get them to grow up. We've only had these betas for a week!! Fast workers those two. Noticed the convict cyclids I was given are old enough to determine sex. I have a pair. May have some excitement in that tank in a few months. Dog is moving more. Getting back into his annoying habit of wanting to go out, come in, go out, come in. Didn't miss that. Do like seeing him wag his tail though. Now, however, he thinks I'm going to give him a piece of cheese every time I go in the kitchen. I hide his meds in the cheese. No problem getting it to him at all. He'd eat a truck if I covered it in cheese. Oh, one funny thing. Kinda. Son totally ruined my new bed. Well, my perception of the bed. I asked if it wasn't the prettiest bed he'd ever seen. Looks very nice in my room. He says, "Yeah, it looks nice in dad's room too." What?! "Dad has the same bed." Damn it!!! Don't worry Pink. I won't ask you to come back and get it. I might paint it green, though. Kinda messy. Very comfy!
