| October 2007 Teen Meeting at our house

| Old 59 Ford is back home with his carburetor all cleaned up. I am so blessed with the family, church family, prayers, visits, cards, those who helped out with the kids, & I could go on forever. God has been SO good to us! Thursday 3-1-07 chest pains got my attention. 4:00pm, We all went to visit the hospital. It wasn't long before ER said it was good that we had come. One heart attack, two arteries, three stents, four days later, & I'm home & doing great. Thanks for all the prayers & concerns, God bless all of you!

Mom & Dad's 50th wedding anniversary will be November 16th. They'll be celebrating it in Texas; so, the family got together last weekend at Fonda & Jim's for an early celebration. 
They were very appreciative for the gifts.  Mom & Dad...still get mushy... 
Jim grilled some beautiful steaks. 
Fonda & Jim served a wonderful meal. We all got our fill. 
Justin's excited about dessert, can't wait until Aunt Fonda gets it cut. 
Have you ever heard of 42? It's a domino game that the family enjoys. The old men trying to show the boys who's boss.

Mom made her own wedding dress. The material, all together, cost her $17. The time involved, 50 years & going strong.  So, what's a going away dress? She made it also and still has the corsage.
It was a relaxing & enjoyable day. Fonda & Jim have a very nice home with a hunting lodge decor. Looks great! -Jay | | |
