I am working on my first project at the MFA - putting together a tour for the visitors.
The preliminary theme of my tour is "Art embedded in another form of art" (yeah, the name has yet to be polished).  I am still scrambling to find exhibits that fit into this theme. I am hoping to find different mediums, in addition to verbal, to describe the exhibits to my audience, maybe show them music from different periods, so my audience can have a non-visual understanding of the exhibit.
Hopefully we can get to discuss about why depiction of other forms of art only took places after certain centuries, why art took different forms in different countries under different political and religious influences... etc.  But of course with a tour guide who is suffering from memory loss, retaining this much information is becoming impossible.
Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Yay! I get to volunteer at the Museum as an Access Guide, assisting people who are visually impaired with the exhibits.  This is something that I have always wanted to do, even though I do miss working at the Animal Shelter.

I am so grateful for this opportunity, and most importantly, I am grateful for being able to see.
My life is beautiful because of everything I have encountered.

Perhaps paths only diverge after they crossed.
They never go parallel nor overlap.
