Amos' first videos

We went to PC Show over the weekend and bought a Canon camcorder.. good deal for a simple home video making equipment..

have been playing with it.. not yet master the art of editing videos... so will only get to see 'raw' videos... ie. some unnecessary shots with a lot of my voice : )

our friend commented that we are more excited abt taking amos' video than amos... he just looks so ... confused, indifferent, bo-chup..

sigh, parents....

Amos' first road trip

We went on our first holiday away from Singapore with Amos last week from Mon to Wed... drove up to Desaru to the beaches... we were so excited abt bringing Amos to the beach and the sea...

but dun think he is as excited as us.. hahahaha just look at his "why u wake me up early in the morn" look... silly parents..

carried on driving to Melaka the next day and we went for nice peranakan food which we missed the last time round... Ole Sayang.. simply the best ...

we then checked into a nice hotel which offered us a complimentary trishaw city tour ride ... ahahaa.. we've been to Melaka quite a few times so quite familiar liao .. but we went on the ride anyway since it's Amos' first time in Melaka! hahhahaa but he slept all the way ...

and only woke up when we went shopping ...

he is really getting heavier and heavier by the day ... it's 7 weeks now and he is already 5kg... angie is complaining abt his weight everyday.. chou xiao zi ... his new nickname is tu4 zai3 zi3 ... since he always burp and puke out some milk after each feed ... corny ... and he loooooves to puke on me...

Amos' first month celebrations@aloha loyang bungalow

We just ended 4days of celebrations over the last Vesak Day weekend... Amos' first month baby shower... and he is really showered with lots of blessings from the many uncles and aunties, kor kors and jie jies...

angie brought him for a haircut the day before we checked into the chalet...

seems like he knew his hair is gonna get cut soon ... awwww... so sad... but he was sleeping throughout the whole haircutting experience and did not flinch at all .. the hairdresser auntie was so amazed by how easy it was to cut his hair...

botak!!!! ahahaa... after a nice bath and change into clothes of a CHAMPION!

we have different groups of guests coming to visit us and share in the joyous occasion...

we were so busy entertaining guests and catching up with friends that we forgot to take much photos.. hahahaa.. most importantly, we did not take a family photo ... hahahhhaa just so glad we can catch up with so many friends over one weekend...

once again... thanks to all who took time off ur busy schedule to share our joy... and ur gifts!! we had a hard time bringing back all the gifts and half of our living rom was filled with gifts... all for Amos...

he is gonna be so loved...

Amos' first month

Yesterday (14th May) is Amos' first month bday! hahaha and also end of confinement for angie.. we we decided to go out for a mini celebration...

that's just me disturbing our ever-sleeping son... putting a girlie ribbon on his head... hahhaaa.. will disturb him more if he continues to sleep more hahhaaa..

we went to Shokudo (Jap like Marche place in Raffles City) for dinner... ordered so much food.. hahhaa

that's angie with the confinement auntie and sleeping amos... went for Robinsons' sale after that and both the women got something for themselves... and i gladly paid... since they have been staying at home and not shopping at all for the past month... : )

and now... for the 4days 3 nights celebrations for Amos!

Amos is home!

Amos is back home after his jaundice had cleared ... EXCITING!

but he sleeps most of the time and sleeps very very soundly... we did not lower our volume at home and the tv is still on at the same volume.. 

therefore we came to the conclusion that he takes after both our genes... he sleeps a lot (like angie).. and he sleeps very soundly (like me) .. there was once when we were standing outside the nursery in the hospital and the doors were closed... and we saw at least 5 babies crying out lod in the nursery.. we could hear the crying even though the doors were closed ... but our dear amos is just sleeping in his own trolley.. not flinching at all ...

someone even suspected he got ear problems ... but the doc checked and the ears are OK... well...

anyways... wanna take this opportunity to thank my colleagues from AHS and Humanities Dept for their generous and very very cute gifts that were delivered to our doorsteps last night... TANKEWBERRYMAT.. the gifts were packed into the shape of a wedding cake... very creative... i can't bear to take it down... (in case you were wondering, the 'cake' and hamper are from my colleagues, the rocker that amos is sleeping in, is ours)
