cameronalicia

Yes, I realize that have not posted all summer! My apologies!!! There has been so much going on, so many photo shoots and so many places I have traveled. I can barely keep up with myself!!! :)

I had to break my silence (unintentional of course) and post pictures and a slideshow of my brother Cameron and his fiance, Alicia. Such a cute couple!!!

To see the slideshow - http://www.joyjensen.com/cameronalicia/

I am off to Asia for the month of August, I shall try and keep things updated!!!!

weddings

update

The last few weeks have been busy!! Memorial day weekend held three weddings for me to photograph. All three of the weddings were beautiful and memorable!!! From Lake Forest, Illinois to photographing one in Fort Collins, Colorado - it could not have been a better weekend! Tiring, to be sure, but non-stop FUN!

The first of the three was Sean and Christina - a rainy, yet perfect day for them. It was amazing how we came up with creative locations to take the pictures. And of course, the lighting was awesome!!

The second of the three was
Pamela and David - a beautiful sunny May day!! This was my first Jewish wedding, and it was fun!!! There was so much taking place, and seemingly all at once! Many thanks to my two assistants for the day (go Britton and Ben!), without them I am sure that I would have been frazzled.

The third and last wedding, was in Fort Collins, Colorado -
Jordan and Rebecca. I flew into Denver late Sunday night, and then drove north early the next morning. It was a perfect Colorado day! Blue skies and puffy white clouds. Knowing the bride and groom, along with most of the bridal party made it such an awesome day! I was completely out of energy, but they were such a fun group, we couldnt' help but do crazy things for pictures. Thanks to Rowan for being a fabulous assistant!!

I stayed in Fort Collins an extra day to go hiking with Brandon, it poured down rain! It turned sunny before long, and we hiked along up into the mountains, only the sunny skies turned into blizzard like conditions. And we found ourselves dashing down the mountain in a snow storm!! Wow. We lunched in Estes Park, what a fun little mountain town!! Then returned to the Stallings to enjoy a delicious meal with the family.

Kara Lee Olson and I headed up the mountain to visit Ouzel falls. Definitely worth the 5 hour trek! What a fun time exploring the mountainside and a bit of the mountaintop. Again, we experienced snow, but only at intermitten periods during the day. Then we were off to a Rockies game!!! FUN!

The rest of my trip was spent with the Elliott family. Lindsay and I had fun shopping, eating out, talking....all that good stuff girls do. Marissa Joy (their newest addition) is adorable!!! I had fun taking pictures of her and also the rest of the family. I squeezed in another Rockies game with the Olson's and Brandon was able to join us for that one. Crazy times!!

I am home now, only to head of to Washington DC this weekend! Ciao!

I photographed the wedding of Angie and Dennis on Saturday! It turned out to be a beautiful day, despite the prediction of rain and various other stormy weather! The wedding was held at the Hyatt Lodge, on the grounds of the McDonalds Corporation Campus in Oak Brook. Great location! Thanks to Britton Felber who was my fabulous assistant that day - he did such a great job keeping track of all my gear and he captured some awesome images!
