Today I ran into Jeffrey from Bravo's Project Runway Season 3. I'm sad that the people I was with (my brother, Amanda) did not recognize who he was. I was starstruck, of course, and wanted to scream after him & get his signature & say hello to his toddler who he was walking with on Colorado Blvd. After reading up on him, I can't help but feel upset that despite his win, he still is struggling every day to hang on. He won, with 50 million viewers, people! we should support him more. NYtimes.com really had a great article on him. of course if i had $500 to spare, I'd buy myself one of his dresses too...
Speaking of reality TV, my friend is a dancer on this show. After reading about it in various friends' xangas, I thought I'd show my support too. Vote for them on the website! I'm sorry if I'm only echoing a million other xanga-ers when I say, go Kaba Modern!

i've had pink berry, yogurt world, pink berry ... wait, pink berry again. milk tea, In n' out, oh, and pink berry. i'm in love w/ that store & they put crack in that sh!t! but you know, home is always good to catch up w/ old friends and some new too.
also tried out the Takami restaurant & Elevate lounge. I had a blast! Also tried riding the Metro from Old Town to Downtown to meet w/ 'Manda & Lynn. It reminded me of Chicago, except like way less crowded. Can't wait to go snowboarding w/ UCLA folks.
My favorite show is gaining my favorite actor (or at least, one of 'em). YAY.
also, i've a new cat now: Yuki. She's precious. She is like a motor when she purrs. it vibrates her whole body. i love her.
*edit -- here are pictures that i was too lazy to put up yesterday. last night she was totally like a supermodel, sitting all demurely while i took photos of her. then she purred when i held her in my lap. & it vibrated her entire body. she's trying to sneak into my jcrew bag as we speak... so cute, her little butt in the air.

how is it that in the coincidental 2 weeks that i'm back in Ann Arbor, i manage to miss the VC FILM FESTIVAL IN FREAKING LOS ANGELES??? :o( I hope people went & are going, if they're in town. it soundes like fun. on another hand, i have to confess my secret -- i LOVE the new season of the Bachelor. I'm rooting for Tessa the hapa, all the way. She's so sincere, she deserves the officer & gentleman's heart. god, it's so corny.
& this is what it looks like when i procrastinate. on another note, i tried eating at this place called Noble Fish apparnently in the middle of nowehre, michigan. it was good, kind of hole-in-the-wall, but overall, freshest fish i've tasted so far. It made me happy. Going back to my place, we passed through Beverly Hills, MI (who knew?). that was exciting, though the houses, i'm sad to say, were no melrose place, though i did spot a Wilshire around there.
but you know, home is always good to catch up w/ old friends and some new too.
