What a wonderful God...

ISAIAH 41:13 "For I the LORD thy God will hold thy right hand, saying unto thee, Fear not; I will help thee."

so its been some time since i posted...and lemme remind you all that the verse above is never more true than it is right now...and of course that will statement will last through eternity...right now i am currently working the hardest job in the marine corps...Recruiting duty and let me tell you it is so very true, however just as the verse above says, "fear not; I WILL help thee."...you know my rss is coming up on mission day and we are pretty far from making mission at the moment so i had a nice little prayer time with our great savior this morning on my ride from the rss office to the pcs office...and my prayer was something to the effect of you know Lord that i cant accomplish this on my own  i need your help and i know you will give it...i was trying to remember the verse above and couldnt so im glad i got on here tonight so i could find out...anyway back to my prayer...basically after that i prayed the rss needs to get appx 5 more people in the MC by fri and im not sitting on anything solid so if you could toss about 3 people my way that could join today that would be great and something to the effect of i know i have 2 appt's today and i know that they may not join but if they dont please toss me a bone somewhere...so then my day started...first almost at the time i got back here to oneonta my first appt didn't show up...not only that he lied about his where abouts...ok thaz cool...just tell me your not interested...its all good...so then i start looking...i make a ton of phone calls and just as im about to leave i decide you know what just one more...and so i did...with in 5 min i have an appt to visit this guy scheduled for 20 min later...i get to his house...i talk to him...and 3 hrs later he makes a decision...YES!!!!...sweet ok so hopefully if all goes well he'll be on his way up to process tomorrow and drop our 5 needed down to 4...and another one is also supposed to go up tomorrow so thats 3 if they both pass phys...so lets all pray that all goes well and that murphy will keep to minding his own business and not mine...anyway 1 out of 3 isn't too bad for the day...maybe tomorrow the Lord will throw me another 2...LORD WILLING!!!...PLEASE LORD WILL!!!....anyway a merry good night to you all...

Romans 5:2-5 Nathan Style

Wonderful truths through nathan's translation of the Bible.  -Be advised translations here in are written as strictly in accordance to the actual Word Of God as best described in My own words as to what I understand the It to mean.-  If you have any dissagreements or believe i have taken any part out of context please feel free to correct me.

Romans 5:2-5

2.)  Because of Faith we have what we have -great privileges- because of what we have -great privileges- we look forward to sharing Christ with others.  3.)Now we can also be happy and praise God when the crazy things come our way because we know that these trials help us hang on to Christ.  4.)  And because of our desperate need to cling to Christ and all that He gives us, we are able to build experiences, experiences that make us who we are helping us to be more patient, more understanding, more Christ like.  And because of our ability to make it through the trials and the growth that we gain our hope in salvation is furthered.  We know our salvation is what it is because of the trials through the growth.  5.)  We cannot be dissappointed because of our faith because we know God loves us because He gave us Christ / The Holy Spirit, Who fills our hearts with Love / Compassion.

Open Doors...

So...I'm about to take that last step towards re-enlistment...raising my right...repeating an oath and then beginning another 4 yrs as a US Marine...After searching and searching...persuing this and that i have made it to a point where i feel ok about the decisions i am about to make...these decisions however may prove to be fatal to my military career or they may prove to be most beneficial...let me explain...First i raise my right hand say and oath and then in march i will move on to recruiter school where i will learn the ins and outs of being a US Marine Recruiter...Fatal? How is this fatal? you ask...Well let me show you...Being a Marine Recruiter is often said to be the absolute hardest job in the Marine corps...every now and then though a few slip through who make recruiting seem like a breaze...Lord Help Me be that one in about two hundred...and i Believe He will i have faith that this is what God wants me to do and because of that He Will  Bless me in this aspect of my life...Now that being said it could prove to be most beneficial because i am going into recruiting...well for now as a Corporal...which let me throw at you that you must be a Sgt to be a recruiter so what does that mean...Promotion...I get promoted to Sgt automatically if i am not a Sgt by the time i go to school in march...which of course i am going to be so that really doesn't matter anyway...I should be a Sgt by Jan...if not sooner...since with my MCI's done I am the Highest Person in my MOS...and then I get an automatic extra 100 points for being a recruiter...so im pretty much guarenteed sgt by the time i go to school...that being said...i still haven't told you how this can benefit me...I will be a Sgt Going into a B-Billet...that is Recruiting...If i can do well i will get premoted to SSgt by 7 yrs in the Marine corps...then around the time i finish my B-Billet...that is again-Recruiting I will get selected to GySgt around 9 yrs possibly going into 10 yrs...with that being said I will have 2 enlisted Ranks left to get promoted to...either 1stSgt or MSgt which are E-8 and then Sgt Maj or MGySgt which is E-9 and I will have 10 yrs left till retirement to make it to those ranks...piece of cake right?...i dont think so...first of all i have to make it through school...then i have to be successful while on Recruiting...that...will take a lot of Prayer from my readers out there...and also a lot of God's help...who i feel will def bless me for following him to the best of my abilities as a falible human...anyway thats all i have to say...

Oh yeah and i Leave in March for Recruiting duty...Ill keep you all posted on my re-enlistment date...
