so a friend of mine sent me this quote..its very fuuny!!!but i guess only for those who have a light sense of humor and are easily amused....like me....so ENJOY!!!...

Mahatma Gandhi, as you know, walked barefoot most of the time, which produced an impressive set of calluses on his feet. He also ate very little, which made him rather frail and with his odd diet, he suffered from bad breath. so all in all what does that make him........

"Mint"

I "Mint" to call and thank you

but my time is in demand.

I "Mint" to say "I Love You"

But I knew you'd understand.

I "Mint" to send you flowers

but they cost so much you know.

I "Mint" to pray for you this morning

But I had someplace to go.

I "Mint" to say "Forgive me"

But thats so hard to do

I heard my Lord say "bless you Child"

I hope he "Mint" me too!

i really pondered on this poem and the more i thought about it the more it just is sooo true...i need to do all those things i MINT to do.  Often at times, i get to bogged down with things that take me away from the real important "stuff" in life.  and really .... this is just my beginning list....there is so much more i MINT to do in life ...i just hope that i do wat i really say and mean.  i hope you too will be encouraged to do the things you've MINT

Reflection on 'He Reigns' by Newsboys

It's the song of the redeemed.

I love music, all kinds of music. And the songs in the Bible have always been of special interest to me. There are many songs or poems in the Bible. The Book of Psalms is a songbook. The Books of Isaiah and Jeremiah have many songs in them. But the song I can't wait to hear is the one recorded in the Book of Revelation. It is often called the song of the redeemed. Listen to the words and imagine the sights and sounds of this not too distant day.

"And they sang a new song, saying,
'Worthy are You to take the book and to break its seals; for You were slain, and purchased for God with Your blood men from every tribe and tongue and people and nation.
You have made them to be a kingdom and priests to our God; and they will reign upon the earth'" (Revelation 5:9-10 NASB).

"After these things I heard something like a loud voice of a great multitude in heaven, saying,
'Hallelujah! Salvation and glory and power belong to our God'" (Revelation 19:1 NASB).

Sounds like the song by the Newsboys called "He Reigns." And He does, on every continent, in every corner of the world. No matter who is elected or who overthrows the government; no matter who may claim the power, He has all the power. He is the Lord. And one day all of us who proclaim Him to be Lord will sing the song of the redeemed.
Just as the Newsboys say

It's every tribe, every tongue every nation
A love song born of a grateful choir.
It's all God's children singing,
Glory Glory, Hallelujah He reigns,
He reigns.

Next time things in this life get hard, remember to praise God. Look to Him, He will strengthen you. When everyone else is becoming bitter, try praising God instead! Remember when you praise God:

And all the powers of darkness
Tremble at what they just heard,
'Cuz all the powers of darkness
Can't drown out a single word.
