| | RecruitingI don't judge anyone who volunteers for military service and I commend them for such sacrifice. It is not something I could go through with, even thought I had contacted a Navy recruiter. I think it's easier to escape the pressure when you're a girl, but even so, I am proud of our service personnel and wouldn't discourage anyone from joining (even if the fear of losing them to war was overwhelming).
maybe my opinion will change when Josh is 18... or if i have a son ... but right now i feel like a very silent minority in my war and film class....
