Currently Watching Ghost Busters see related

So we decided to go Thursday night without Nate Dogg. The four of us traveled to the unknown. None of us knew what to expect from our voyage but we all had high hopes of discovering.........GHOSTS. Upon arriving at the building we decided it would not be smart to leave the car parked at the building due to the amount of cops that patrol that area. Scott volunteered to drive around and pick us up when we called (because he was too scared to go in).

While investigating the inside of the abandoned building we all experienced something unexplainable. Kennel walked ahead of Coomer and I and into another room. Coomer and I were standing in a hallway with two hallways run into the one we were in so all three were meeting up. While walking through the one past the other two we heard something walking behind us. It sounded like someone dragging their feet while walking. It couldn't have been Kennel because he was ahead of us and Scott was driving the vehicle around.

Coomer and I took off running out the door to the road and called Scott immediately, leaving Kennel behind. Approximately 45 seconds to a minute later Kennel came out and said that we should not mess with him. Coomer and I were confused at what he was saying but he kept accusing us of coming back in and breathing heavy around him. We were already loading in the car when he came out so there is no way that it could have been us that was making those noises.

So in conclusion to this part of the story, Coomer and I heard something walking behind us and Kennel heard someone breathing really heavy. The breathing heavy is understandable because the story says that a man was hung in the basement, left gasping for air until he suffocated. He probably is just trying to catch his breath.
